The Ashen Contractor Initiative

The Ashen Contractor Initiative [ACINT] is a multi-purpose organisation able to be hired for small to medium sized contracts.

History

The Ashen Contractor Initiative is a small organisation, created by a group of online friends. We originally met in a Guild Wars 2 role-playing guild, and created this organisation to have fun in a completely different universe. (Pun intended)

The purpose of this organisation is to have enjoy the game as much as we can. We accept small contracts of all types! This way, we can enjoy every aspect of the game, and also help others while doing so.

Manifesto

THE ASHEN CONTRACTOR INITIATIVE

The goal of this organisation is to provide other small scale organisations with the services that they cannot provide themselves. These things could be cargo runs, but also a small scale fighting force to help in a battle or provide a defensive escort.

Charter

General Rules

  • We will respect one another with one golden rule: “Treat others as you wish to be treated.”
  • We expect every one of our members to use common sense and decency at all times.
  • Respect the leaders and their verdicts. Their goal is to find the best solution; If this is not what you want, this is nothing personal.

In Game Rules

  • One man jobs can be accepted by a single member of the organisation. The member in question is required to let the rest know that he or she has taken a contract. This will be done by providing the following information:
  • 1. Type of job (For example: guarding, cargo run, refueling)
  • 2. Contracted Organisation and it’s type. ( For example: “Advanced Combat Services [ACS] – Military”)
  • 3. Duration (For example: 2 days)
  • For bigger contracts, the member is required to talk to the leadership of the organisation so that they can confirm multiple members of the organisation will be able to help out.
  • Spoilers are not allowed in public guild channels until a week after the release of the content/
  • If another member asks of you to tone down your behavior, you are expected to do so without complaint. We want everyone to feel at home here.

Consequences

Breaking any of these rules will have consequences. The severity of the consequence depends on the severity of the infraction.
Following the belief that everyone can make a mistake, there will be a warning system. Each individual can receive two warnings before their membership of the organisation will be put in question.

Bringing up an issue as a member

If you as a member have feedback for the guild, feel free to send this to the leadership of the organisation. They will gladly take it, consider it, and if it is a good idea, implement it. We do request that this is done through official channels, and not as an in-game message.

If your issue is with another member, the leaders will be serious about the situation. They will step back, and review the point from both sides. After that, the appropriate actions will be taken.
