Amber Cross Interstellar Operations (ACIO) provides assistance in any emergency. Whether you are stranded in the void or under fire.

ACIO operates strictly on a donation basis. We believe that life-saving aid and recovery should be accessible to every explorer, regardless of their credit balance.

History

The origins of Amber Cross Interstellar Operations (ACIO) trace back to the Second Tevarin War, specifically the aftermath of the Siege of Centauri. While the UEE focused on military dominance, thousands of civilian volunteers and stranded pilots were left drifting in the debris fields of ruined orbitals.

Among them was Ellara Vance, a former Freelancer pilot who refused to let the “collateral damage” perish in the dark. She began broadcasting a low-frequency signal—not a military encrypted code, but a steady, amber-colored navigational pulse. She called it the “Amber Beacon,” a neutral light for anyone, human or Tevarin, who needed a way out of the wreckage.

Vance’s philosophy was simple: “The void does not discriminate, and neither do we.” She traded her combat hardpoints for tractor beams and medical bays, funding her operations through the gratitude of those she saved.

As the war ended, the “Amber Beacons” didn’t fade. Other pilots, disillusioned by the corporate greed of the frontier, joined her cause. They adopted the Amber Cross—a symbol representing the golden hue of a ship’s warning lights and the ancient cross of mercy.

Today, ACIO remains a fiercely independent collective. They are the silent watchers in the asteroid belts and the first responders in the lawless fringes of Pyro. They don’t fly for credits or conquest; they fly because the stars are cold, and someone has to keep the light on.

Manifesto

Amber Cross Interstellar Operations (ACIO) is defined by a singular, unwavering conviction: Space is indifferent, but we are not. While the UEE focuses on expansion and corporations focus on margins, ACIO focuses on the pulse. Our intentions, motives, and views are built upon the “Amber Standard”—a commitment to life and recovery that transcends borders and tax brackets.
Intentions: The Mission of the Beacon

Our primary objective is to act as the universal fail-safe for those navigating the black.

* Rapid Preservation: To stabilize medical emergencies and secure distressed vessels before the void or hostile actors can claim them. * Technical Recovery: To provide the heavy-lift capability and mechanical expertise needed to bring crippled ships back to safety. * Tactical Neutrality: To operate in high-risk zones without taking sides, ensuring that aid reaches the victim regardless of the conflict.

Why We Fly

We are driven by the belief that gratitude is the most stable currency in the verse.

* The Humanity Gap: We fill the void left by overburdened Advocacy patrols and expensive private security firms who only protect those with high-tier insurance. * The Debt of Survival: Founded by those who were once left behind, our motive is to pay forward the mercy we once received. *Sustainability through Solidarity: By operating on a donation basis, we remove the barrier of entry for help. We trust that a pilot saved today will be the benefactor of tomorrow.

Our Stance on the Verse

ACIO views the galaxy not as a collection of warring factions, but as a shared ecosystem of survivors.

* On Politics: We are strictly apolitical. A distress signal has no faction; a bleeding lung has no ideology. We treat the citizen, the outlaw, and the alien with the same professional rigor. * On Profit: We view the commodification of life-saving services as a moral failure. Assistance should be a right, not a luxury service. * On the Lawless Fringes: We believe the “danger” of a sector should never be an excuse for the absence of mercy. Where the law ends, the Amber Cross begins.

Charter

On-Duty Protocols

When responding to a distress signal or flying an ACIO-tagged vessel, the following rules apply:

* Defensive Engagement: We are lifesavers, not hunters. Combat is strictly defensive. However, we authorize all necessary force to ensure the absolute safety of our crews and our clients. * Legal Integrity: ACIO members shall not engage in criminal activities. While we operate in all sectors, we maintain a clean profile to ensure our mercy remains untainted by piracy—unless a life-saving duty necessitates a “gray area” bypass. * Citizen Etiquette: Professionalism is our armor. We maintain a respectful and calm demeanor toward all fellow Citizens, regardless of their reputation or affiliation. * The Priority Mandate: The client comes first. When a distress call is accepted, members are expected to abandon their current in-game activities immediately to provide aid.

Organization Standards

We believe in a flexible, community-driven environment that balances duty with the freedom of the stars:

* Active Standby: We do not expect you to sit idle. We encourage members to team up, roam the Verse, and engage in any in-game activities while on standby for a call. * Freedom of Association: ACIO maintains a No Non-Compete rule. You are free to fly with other organizations, provided our core values are not compromised. * Open Borders: We currently maintain no blacklisted organizations. We help those in need, regardless of their primary group, and we welcome members from all walks of life.heck back soon!
