Welcome to Adventure Incorporated

ADVINC embodies the ideals of structured bold adventure. In the age of sail many countries employed privateers and other freelancers for a large variety of different tasks. ADVINC embodies the spirit of these early bold adventurers but also adds the structure and security of a paramilitary community. ADVINC often supports UEE and other law enforcement agencies in peacekeeping and other operations, however most of our focus rest on small group contracts.

Often “going it alone” can leave you vulnerable to unethical trade practices, breaches of contract or outright violence, in these cases it’s always better to have some sort of organization standing behind you. Sadly quite a few solo freelancers get tempted off the path of righteousness and stray to outright piracy. Here in ADVINC we do not condone piracy, Profiteering with a valid letter of Marque is quite acceptable however.

ADVINC is the preferred choice for adventurers who want the benefits of a structured organization, but who don’t want to be shackled to a rigid and suffocating military organization.

The Law of ADVINC

#No piracy.
#No contracts can be taken under the ADVINC banner without aproval from ADVINC command.
#Do not get involved with unlawful practices while a member of ADVINC. (Slavery and smuggling. Bounty hunting is not slavery, no matter what your prisoner says.)
#ADVINC does not start fights. If for some reason the need arises for this to happen, command must be informed, or command will inform you.
#Members accused of unlawful activities will face suspension pending investigation. Should the member be found guilty expulsion from ADVINC will result or fines levied for minor infractions. Should a member be falsely accused steps will be taken against accusers.
#No unsanctioned in house violence. Minor and major disputes can be submitted to command for adjudication. Court martial may be called.
#Bold adventure! Our main aim is adventure and the gratification that comes with it. As such a member can choose to accept a contract or not.
#The guild levies a 15% handling fee on contract taken in it’s name. All other rewards and spoils goes to the member accepting the contract.
#(Weekly or monthly guild fees are yet to be determined once in the universe, our aim is not to have them be a burden and if the 15% levy proves to be sufficient we aim to do away with them totally.)
#Emergency situations that require a temporary draft will result in the full militarization of the entire ADVINC for the duration of the emergency. This includes wars, emergency disaster relief and origination wide self defense. (Also sanctioned revenge.)
#ADVINC team leaders will have full authority over the rigidity of their command structure during group contracts and missions. However all military or combat operations will operate under full military discipline and command.
