Astro Exploration is an organization that is dedicated to discovering new systems, planets and material deposits. ASM will allow its members to keep anything they find while exploring.

History

Astro Exploration was formed in 2925. With the emergence of ever increasing Vanduul attacks, the need to discover new lands, new resources and new technology has never been higher. With this fact obvious, our founders have decided to create Astro Exploration. While our organization has fallen upon tough times in the past, we have recently had great fortune and have discovered many mineral deposits, allowing us to expand our operations and hire more people. We are currently looking for new people to join our organization for the betterment of all of mankind.

Manifesto

Astro Exploration intends to discover new planets, systems and resources. We desire to supply the UEE worlds with new resources in order to drive off the Vanduul threat.

Charter

Astro Exploration, while loose on rules, does have some.

Conduct: Any cases of harassment or discrimination of any type, even against non-members, will result in an immediate kick from the organization. There will be no warning, and no rank is exempt from this rule.

Orders: Any orders from a rank higher than you must be obeyed, unless it is considered unreasonable. If you consider an order to be unreasonable, inform a fleet admiral or a rear admiral. Ensigns and Petty Officers will be unable to give orders to anyone that is not on a ship that they personally own.

Discoveries: Any major location discoveries (ex: planets, warp-holes, solar systems) should be immediately reported to the highest ranking person in the organization. The organization will then gather a survey fleet and investigate the system. A discovery of a abandoned capital ship should be reported to a fleet admiral immediately. If you find an abandoned capital ship, do not enter the ship unless it is in immediate danger.
