Aftermath, LLC is a legitimate Limited Liability Corporation conducting standard commercial operations across the Stanton, Pyro, and Nyx systems. We’re honestly baffled by the persistent rumors suggesting otherwise.

Our business model is straightforward: cargo escort, secure transport, and UEE contract fulfillment. Basic stuff. The kind of work that keeps the verse running smoothly and doesn’t involve any questionable activities in unmonitored sectors.  Or causing intentional disruption to comms arrays so that monitored sectors become unmonitored. None whatsoever.

When we need rare materials for, say, for our perfectly legitimate trade relationships with a reputable Banu merchant man, we source them through proper channels. Mining, market purchases, the usual routes. The suggestion that we might occasionally expedite acquisition from less security-conscious competitors is completely unfounded speculation.

We’ve also heard the rumors about menacing capitol ships ruining a crew’s good times being suddenly taken over and shut down, seemingly out of nowhere, probably due to a combination of questionable fuse placement and relative instability of Idris power nodes. Or maybe it was something else? Who knows? Certainly not Aftermath, LLC which has no idea about bespoke boarding services being offered for competitive rates.

Look, just because we operate in some of the verse’s more… frontier… regions doesn’t mean we’re doing anything improper, “exploring” peoples’ cargo holds against their wishes.  It’s preposterous. We’re professionals. We file our paperwork. We definitely don’t have a side business that operates outside UEE jurisdiction and quite frankly, the suggestion that we do is offensive.  And we don’t take such offenses lightly…
