History

Soon after RSI announced “Quantum Core Engine technology” mankind had the potential for unlimited access to space: Vast systems unexplored, teeming with the glitter of riches, Power beyond human comprehension up for grabs and Alien races with technology of their own.

In 2232 was the first attempt for humanity to reach out into the veiled eternal. Artemis launched successfully with its load of 5 thousand souls. Piloted by an AI known as Janus, the ship slipped into the darkness beyond our systems reaches. All contact ceased. Attempts to find the lost vessel dwindled as time stretched forward. The ship became myth, forever stuck in the empty void of the unknown.

After hundreds of years, the mystery was sought after by many renown explorers, seeking wealth, fame and prestige. With all signs of the Artemis slowly fading away out of time, men still seeking power formed “Sovereign”. Using their vast wealth to search out the greatest treasures of the universe. Thus Kretheus was born. Formed from men and women with expertise in Security, deep space exploration, ex-military and a fleet to trample any who oppose. Fueled by ambition, dedication and a loyalty unwavering. The creed set out, roaming the ruins of the universe in search for the fabled weapon; Eclipse.

Manifesto

Kretheus was a powerful warrior in Greek mythology. His renown stretched across the world. His quest, his purpose was not to consume the souls that fell into his domain, it was ultimate power. The ultimate weapon, the Eclipse. Those who stood to put an end to his quest were silenced. Mortals who gave him keys to finding the Eclipse were rewarded with honor. As decendents of this mighty god we follow in his quest for power. With Kretheus we roam the galaxy for our Eclipse, stopping at nothing to find it. Those who have been lost to the darkness; those cast out to the end of the universe have become beasts driven by madness, they are silenced. Explorers with keys to the deepest regions of space are rewarded with honor. All the secrets of the universe lie in our vault, never to be opened. We are Guardians of Power. We are Kretheus.
