The Beginning:
Year: 2910 – A time where Humanity has settled several star systems, but infrastructure is still patchy, and danger lurks everywhere from pirates to unpredictable planetary environments.
ANZMS (Astrial New Zealous Medical Service): Envisioned as a rugged, independent, and resourceful medical organization serving the more remote and underserved populations of the UEE.
History:
In the year 2910, as humanity stretched its reach across the stars, a new need emerged from the void. The Astrial New Zealous Medical Service (ANZMS) was founded not by a single visionary, but by a collective of frontier doctors, ex-military medics, and security specialists who had witnessed the same brutal truth.
The lawless fringes of settled space were a graveyard for the unprepared. Mining accidents on remote asteroids, pirate attacks on lonely haulers, and exotic pathogens from uncharted worlds created a constant, silent scream for help that the established powers were too slow or too indifferent to answer.
ANZMS was their answer. It was conceived as a dual-purpose organization, a unique synthesis of mercy and might. Its founding charter outlined a simple, two-fold mission: to deliver advanced emergency medical care to any human in distress, regardless of affiliation or ability to pay, and to provide the armed security necessary to ensure that care could be delivered safely.
