For eons, Man has thought himself alone in the Universe. We now know this to be untrue. Born from the will of the Universe itself, Humanity is the only pure race in the cosmos. We are the only race meant to dominate the stars. The inferiors will bend to our will or perish.
History
Man. The great spark in the vast emptiness of space. For Millennia we have only dreamed of reaching out to the stars, to touch the great beyond. Now that dream has become our reality. Early in our space-faring days, the Ascendancy of man Formed from a group of monks who sought to unlock the mysteries of the universe. They would meditate on existence to find our purpose.
What they found was the great message locked within all of humanity; The purpose of Man. They had unlocked the secret to our existence on this plane: To Rule the Cosmos. They learned we are inextricably linked to the existence of this universe. We are the reason the universe exists. With this great enlightenment came a dire warning, should another race take the place of Man as rulers of the stars and erase Mankind from existence, there would be a great cataclysm. The universe, undone by lack of purpose, would cease to exist.
The monks, now bound together under the true purpose, formed the Ascendancy of Man. They laid the foundation for things to come. They knew we would encounter other space-faring races on our true path. They knew these races must be subjugated or put down to ensure Man would always survive.
We can only follow the true path of Man and keep reaching for the stars.
Manifesto
Man is the only pure race in this universe.
