Some gravelly voiced character once said a famous line “war never changes” there is wisdom behind these words. For even back when the first quantum drive was unveiled people where already thinking about how it could benefit them. Those with with a more industrious mind where eager at the idea of finding new locations and setting up a colonies and prospectors were itching to find new and untapped resources out in the vast expanses of space.

Yet, even while peoples minds were buzzing with the possibility what this new technology would bring, there was an unsettling aura that could be felt in all the dark corners of Earth. Those who made a living in the shadows knew that a new age of piracy was about to , quite literally, take off. So as mankind grew ever more confident in navigating the stars, so too did the greed that would show in people’s eyes as they saw a full cargo ship floating through space. It did not take too long for the United Empire of Earth to be formed, and with the creation of the UEE, new laws and protections where put in place, allowing most people some semblance of safety in the core homewards. But even with the new escorts and protections put in place, it was only a matter of time before crafty pirates where able to find cracks and weak spots in even the most carefully thought out cargo routes.

So while the location and manner in which war was conducted shifted, war itself still remained unchanged. With the influx of crime and piracy, the UEE reached out to local private military contractors who were able to fill the gaps the that UEE could not reach. The arrangement was simple, if a PMC was hired, and the job went well, they were paid. With as many PMC’s that signed up for these contracts, it was inevitable that some form of competition would come around. Nothing was ever official of course, but PMC’s would often compete for high paying contracts. These competitions could range to anything from number of pirates kill on an operation to, how fast one was able to make a particular run. There was a crazy rumor floating around that some ace pilot made a particularly dangerous run in an old junk freighter, but no one was able to confirm anything. Eventually companies came to know which PMC’s they could trust to get the job done right. Among the many names that were passed around, one always came up first.

OUR MISSION:

APX “Operators” are employed in war zones and other dangerous areas to perform a wide variety of specialized jobs, including repair and maintenance of infrastructure Communications, Power Grid and pipeline equipment. Other operators provide armed security for Ship convoys carrying supplies between military bases, serve as guards for corporate headquarters and government buildings and provide personal protection for politicians and other leading figures. Operators are normally employed only in defensive roles and are only expected to engage in combat if attacked. They are not generally used for offensive military operations, so the term “mercenary” may not be strictly appropriate for what they do.

Conduct counter-drug operations.
Fight terrorism.
Protect refineries.
Guard political dignitaries/UEE Aligned
Train security personnel and police forces.
Develop security plans for private organizations.
Provide operational and intelligence support (Recon).
Conduct intelligence analysis.
Assist in Intel/Recon missions.
Organize foreign armies.

Sharing is caring but activity is key.

All contracts / missions, discoveries, mining or trades are split equally among those involved directly in the operation itself. Usually split at a ratio of 70% between those involved and 30% to APX to help pay for membership benefits listed below. Any collected items outside the range of acceptability are yours to keep no matter the profit. (Loot).

CONTRACTS

APX accepts any contracts that abides by UEE law. Be it inside UEE space or outside UEE space. Contracts are clearly communicated to our operatives on a secure channel (forums) when accepted. Payment for contracts is due at the end of the contract. New customers are expected to pay a deposit.
