At ARKTEK, our ultimate goal is to provide a safe environment for the citizens of the universe. This mission involves the work of a wide variety of divisions, from exploration and settlement of new lands to setting up and maintaining security forces to protect our settlements and trade routes.

ARKTEK Security

Take your place at the tip of the spear for the protection of ARKTEK space!
As a part of ARKTEK Security, you will be trained, tested, and deployed as part of a tightly knit Squadron to defend the inhabitants and citizens of ARKTEK territories from internal and external threats.

ARKTEK Security is built with multi-disciplinary Regiments, combining and maximising the effectiveness of each Squadron, both on the ground and above it.

ARKTEK Industries

ARKTEK Industries is the division for citizens with a passion for industry. The resources and funding produced by these invaluable members of the organisation are the lifeblood of our continuing mission to expand and develop our civilisation.

Whether it be Cargo, Mining, or Salvage that appeals to you, with ARKTEK you’ll find what you’re looking for.

ARKTEK Pioneer Co. [Not Currently Available]

The ARKTEK Pioneer Company is the exploratory division of ARKTEK, responsible for locating and marking sites for resource extraction and future development of settlements. These sites will one day be developed into thriving hubs of our civilisation across a diverse selection of landscapes and environments, providing a safe place in the ‘verse for ARKTEK Citizens to call their home.

Recruitment Requirements

All recruits must be at least 18 years old.

The official language of ARKTEK is English. All applicants should be comfortable with the English language and all ARKTEK communications must be in English.

ARKTEK is an organisation that requires dedication to function properly. It is recommended that all Squadrons and Crews dedicate approximately four hours per week to their training and in-game operations. Individual Squadrons and Crews should determine specific timings for themselves.

While ARKTEK is not an exclusive organisation and members may be members of other organisations, ARKTEK must be listed as the primary organisation of all members.

Behavioural Conduct

What follows is the basic code of conduct that ARKTEK operatives must uphold at all times.

When Dealing with Other Members of the ARKTEK Organisation

• Be respectful to everyone within the organisation. Limit the use of profanity and inappropriate comments.
• When faced with conflict, handle it with civility. Inform an Officer if necessary, so that issues can be resolved quickly.
• Protect any personal information you learn regarding other members of the organisation. Do not share others’ personal information under any circumstances.
• Honesty is a virtue. All ARKTEK members should be honest and cultivate a strong sense of integrity and trust at all times.
• Support and assist other ARKTKEK members whenever you can.

When Dealing with Players Outside ARKTEK, Including In-Game Global/Proximity Chat

• Be respectful at all times. This is especially important with non-members as you are a public representative of ARKTEK.
• Limit the use of profanity or conversation not suitable for children. Star Citizen is not only played by adults. Act accordingly.
• Do not treat other players in a way that could reduce their enjoyment of the game.
• ARKTEK is a lawful organisation. Members of ARKTEK will not participate in piracy, griefing, or other unlawful activity. This includes being a member of any unlawful organizations.

Operational Conduct

ARKTEK members should follow the following code of conduct while operating within ARKTEK.

When Actively Engaged in Operations Within ARKTEK

• Respect the chain of command.
• Stay focussed on the mission at all times to help create a positive outcome.
• Maintain appropriate communications protocol.
• Maintain information confidentiality if required.
• Uphold all aspects of Basic Conduct at all times.
• Wear the appropriate on-duty uniform, as defined by your role.
• Take responsibility for your actions and decisions and hold others accountable for theirs. Learn from both mistakes and successes.

Personal Development

• Take time to develop and practice skills relevant to your role within ARKTEK.
• If asked for help with a particular skill or protocol, provide assistance wherever you can.
• If you feel a member of your team could use improvement in an aspect of their role, offer to help their development or refer them to a Training Officer.
• Don’t hesitate to take initiative and contact a Training Officer if you would like further training in a particular skill/protocol or to explore a different aspect of ARKTEK’s operations.

Those found to be in violation of this Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary measures, including expulsion from ARKTEK if this is deemed necessary.
