History
The Ashen Veil Syndicate was born in the turbulent aftermath of the First Tevarin War and the rise of the United Empire of Earth (UEE) as the dominant power in known space. As the UEE expanded its reach, many independent operators, miners, smugglers, and mercenaries found themselves squeezed out or hunted by increasingly strict imperial laws and corporate interests. The Syndicate’s founders were among these displaced individuals—pilots, traders, and outlaws who refused to bow to the tightening grip of the UEE or the mega-corporations that profited from its expansion.

Our Intentions
To thrive beyond the reach of law and order: We reject the constraints imposed by governments and corporations. In the vastness of space, we carve our own path, unbound and unapologetic.
To unite the lawless: Though we walk outside the law, we are not anarchs without purpose. We are a syndicate — a brotherhood and sisterhood of outlaws who understand that survival and power come from unity, not division.
To master the shadows: We operate where others fear to tread — in the black markets, the hidden corners, and the uncharted territories. Our strength lies in secrecy, cunning, and adaptability.
To claim our legacy: We are not mere pirates or bandits; we are architects of a new order born from the ashes of the old. Our name will be whispered with respect and fear across star systems.
