Member Rules

1. We do not condone exploiting, cheating, or associating with these items at any time in any game.
2. We do not condone unfriendly abusive behavior (“Bullying”, “Mocking”, “Gaslighting” etc) towards any other person or entity for any reason whatsoever.
3. We do not condone discrimination of any kind based on religion, gender, preferences, political views, disabilities, beliefs, or sexual orientation where those items are not harmful and/or in conflict with other rules outlined here.
4. We do not condone bigotry of any kind.
5. We do not condone poor sportsmanship both internally and externally.
6. Members should recognize that they always represent our organization when playing with us.
7. Members of our group deal with sensitive information, if this is applicable, you must respect the integrity of said information and not share it with unintended parties.
8. We shall not form alliances or cooperate with organizations that break reasonable and ethical standards in any context.
9. We expect our members to engage in good faith and with integrity.

Leadership Rules

1. Leaders shall keep an above belt attitude and tone when conducting any leadership function.
2. Leadership shall act consistently, in good faith, and communicate with members to the best of their ability.

Enforcement & Exceptions

1. The rules are enforced by all members be it by reporting violations via ticket or using their administrative powers, but punishment is to be conducted by those with Administrative Abilities such as @Community Staff.
2. These values are intended as guidelines for enforcement. If a member violates one of the values, the punishment must match the context and severity.
3. Obvious cases of technical violations (but are not considered punishable) are: Good faith banter, reasonable community memes (which may “make fun of” certain players in a light-hearted way). These cases should not be punished unless serious harm is done because of it. Notable objections raised must be followed. Continuing past an objection is not considered acting in good faith, and will be handled accordingly.
4. In all cases, ASTI/SYN and its leadership should assume innocence until proven otherwise.
5. Leadership must communicate clearly on any moderation actions taken against the membership.

Procedure in the cases of violations

1. Minor offenses will result in a proverbial “slap on the wrist” with a discussion being had with the individual.
2. Moderate offenses will result in suspension of privileges and/or access to resources. It can also include temporary suspensions.
3. Major offenses can range from demotion of position at the lower end, to removal from the group at the highest level.
4. Moderation will meet and discuss the relevant punishment in each case.
