MEDEVAC / ASTROMEDIC

MEDEVAC provides timely and efficient movement and en route care provided by medical personnel to wounded being evacuated from a battlefield, to injured patients being evacuated from the scene of an accident to receiving medical facilities, or to patients in the universe requiring urgent care at a better-equipped facility using medically equipped shuttles. The astromedics are trained to deploy in minutes and provide first aid, trauma care and relief for respiratory distress on the battlefield.

According to the Interstellar Convention, knowingly firing at a astromedic wearing clear insignia is a war crime. In today’s day and age, most astromedics carry a personal weapon, to be used to protect themselves and the wounded or sick in their care. We do not fire unless fired upon. Do no harm. Do know harm.
