The Association of Trade, Logistics and Science (ATLS) was founded on a simple but enduring belief:
Civilizations are not built by war alone—they are sustained by those who discover, transport, trade, and create.
As humanity expanded beyond its home systems, it became increasingly clear that exploration alone was not enough. New colonies required reliable supply lines, scientific research needed funding and coordination, and developing worlds depended upon stable trade to survive. While governments and corporations pursued their own interests, countless independent pilots, researchers, industrial specialists, and merchants found themselves working toward the same goal without a unified network.
Recognizing this need, a coalition of logistics experts, scientists, traders, engineers, and explorers established the Association of Trade, Logistics and Science.
Their vision was ambitious: to create an organization where knowledge, commerce, and infrastructure worked together to strengthen the growing frontier.
ATLS began as a small cooperative of civilian professionals who shared resources, coordinated cargo operations, and supported scientific expeditions into newly accessible regions of space.
Research teams depended on logistics crews to transport equipment.
Industrial operations relied on traders to move refined goods to market.
Explorers provided valuable data that engineers transformed into practical development plans.
Every success reinforced a simple truth:
No single profession could build the future alone.
This philosophy became the foundation of the organization.
As operations expanded, so did the Association’s reputation.
ATLS became known for professionalism, reliability, and careful planning. Independent contractors, mining crews, transport captains, researchers, manufacturers, and infrastructure specialists increasingly chose to operate under the Association’s banner, recognizing the advantages of coordinated operations over isolated efforts.
Rather than pursuing territorial control or political influence, ATLS focused on creating value wherever it operated.
The organization established efficient supply chains, supported industrial initiatives, documented scientific discoveries, and assisted in developing sustainable economic networks between settlements.
Its strength was never measured by the size of its fleet alone, but by the trust it earned through dependable service and responsible leadership.
Today, ATLS continues to expand its reach across the ‘verse.
Its members represent a diverse community of traders, scientists, engineers, explorers, industrial operators, and support personnel united by a common purpose: advancing civilization through cooperation and innovation.
The Association remains committed to ethical commerce, scientific discovery, efficient logistics, and long-term development while adapting to the ever-changing challenges of an expanding frontier.
Conflict may shape history, but progress is achieved by those who build.
The future of ATLS is not defined by conquest but by contribution.
Every trade route established strengthens economies.
Every scientific expedition expands humanity’s understanding.
Every shipment delivered keeps communities alive.
Every industrial project lays another foundation for those who follow.
As humanity continues its journey into the unknown, the Association of Trade, Logistics and Science stands ready to help shape what comes next.
Our mission remains unchanged:
“To discover.
To connect.
To develop.
To build a stronger future for all who call the stars home.”
The Association of Trade, Logistics and Science (ATLS) exists to advance humanity through cooperation, innovation, and sustainable development across the stars.
We reject chaos where order creates opportunity. We reject stagnation where discovery fuels progress. We believe that every successful expedition, every thriving settlement, and every prosperous economy begins with the seamless integration of science, logistics, and commerce.
Our purpose is not conquest for its own sake, but construction. Not destruction, but development. We build the infrastructure that allows civilizations to flourish.
ATLS is dedicated to:
Every shipment delivered, every discovery documented, every station constructed, and every trade route secured is another step toward a stronger future.
Knowledge is humanity’s greatest resource.
We seek to explore the unknown, research emerging technologies, analyze planetary resources, and expand the collective understanding of the universe.
Discovery is not a luxury—it is our responsibility.
Logistics
No civilization survives without supply.
From freight operations and fleet coordination to resource distribution and industrial planning, logistics is the invisible foundation upon which every successful enterprise is built.
Efficiency is our strength.
Trade
Commerce creates opportunity.
We believe in fair, intelligent, and strategic trade that rewards initiative while strengthening relationships across the galaxy.
Prosperity is built through cooperation, not exploitation.
Development
The frontier is not merely to be explored—it is to be developed.
We establish infrastructure, support industrial expansion, assist settlement efforts, and transform isolated regions into thriving centers of commerce and innovation.
Our legacy is measured by what we build.
Professionalism
We conduct ourselves with discipline, respect, and accountability.
Integrity
Our reputation is our greatest asset. Every agreement, contract, and partnership is honored.
Innovation
Progress requires curiosity and the courage to improve what already exists.
Cooperation
No single pilot, crew, or corporation can build civilization alone.
Preparedness
Planning and organization turn risk into opportunity.
Service
Our success is measured by the value we create for our members, partners, and communities.
Every member of ATLS contributes to a larger mission.
Whether scientist, industrialist, trader, engineer, hauler, explorer, security escort, or administrator, each individual forms an essential part of a unified organization dedicated to long-term success.
There are no insignificant roles.
Every contribution moves the organization forward.
Our Vision
We envision a future where stable trade routes span entire systems, scientific breakthroughs improve everyday life, logistics networks sustain growing populations, and frontier worlds become prosperous homes.
ATLS will stand among the organizations that made that future possible—not through domination, but through dedication.
We will be known as the builders behind the builders.
The carriers of opportunity.
The architects of prosperity.
The pioneers of tomorrow.
“We pursue knowledge without fear.
We deliver with precision.
We trade with integrity.
We build for generations.
United in purpose, we strengthen civilization.
Together, we are the Association of Trade, Logistics and Science.”

You must abide by these rules to remain a ATLS Citizen:
Responsibility and Respect
Citizens of the ATLS are all treated with equality and respect by the leaders, and Citizens are expected to behave the same to each other. The ATLS acknowledges that gamers come from diverse backgrounds and use games to escape the stresses of real life. Because of this, the ATLS aims to provide a pleasant, drama-free environment for citizens to enjoy playing Star Citizen. It is recommended that applicants be over the age of 18. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Overall, you will be judged based on your personality and the treatment of others in the community, not your age. The ATLS operates on a zero-tolerance policy for needless drama, and citizens who are found disturbing the peace are subject to immediate loss of their ATLS privileged. If you have a direct problem with another member, please get in touch with an admin member on the ATLS Discord to help deal with the situation.
External Representation
ATLS citizens are expected to uphold the name of the ATLS throughout the universe. You are not to do anything to harm the reputation of the UASE, in-game or otherwise. Common decency is expected of all citizens when engaging in both internal and external interactions.
Gameplay
The ATLS looks to accommodate everyone’s play styles and time restraints. We understand that everyone has a life outside of Star Citizen, and because of this, we have no set gameplay time requirements per week – your real life comes first. We expect ATLS citizens to use their play time, whenever or however long it might be, in a meaningful way that benefits them and the United Association of Space and Exploration. We will not tolerate people using group resources for purely personal gain.
Officers
Leadership positions in The Association of Trade, Logistics and Science (ATLS) are a position of duty, not privilege. These positions are based on need, and candidates will be selected for an Officer position based on several factors, including but not limited to dedication and skill. Having a higher position in the ATLS does not give the authority to dictate other’s actions, time spent, and/or play style in the game except in specific contexts like military group operations. Leadership positions never allow the person holding office to act in a privileged manner during social interactions with other members. Should you be offered an Officer position in the ATLS , we would like you to commit more time to Star Citizen and the ATLS , so please keep that in mind before accepting.
Voice Communication
We offer many different ways for ATLS Citizens to communicate and connect. Primary communications will be using Discord. We understand that not everyone wants to be on the mic all the time during their gaming sessions; as such, VoIP participation is not required for all citizens, with notable exceptions for circumstances such as Navy group-level raid operations (missions). Voice communications will not be necessary for normal ATLS activities.
Nationality and Time Zone Policy
We are open to all English-speaking members, whether native or as a second language, regardless of time zone.
