Aurum Custodes Concern is a privately owned corporation which specializes in exploration of uncharted space, reconnaissance, and communication solutions.

History

Aurum Custodes Concern is a exploration, communications, and scouting corporation currently based on Terra Prime whose goal is simple. As set forth by the founder, Aurum Custodes’ mandate is to map as much of the galaxy as possible and be the best at it. The current President, Caius Aelius Silanus, is the grandson of founder Marcus Vesalius Silanus.

Aurum Custodes’ origins can be traced to Terra Prime in the year 2866. A recent immigrant from Earth, Marcus Vesalius Silanus, and his son Lucius Tulius Silanus with a passion for exploration, spent the last of his UEC to buy a Corporate License and an Aurora, retrofitted for jump point mapping and system scanning. Founder, ran the company alone for several years and discovered at least twelve minor jump points.

With the money made off of their early successes, they began to invest more in the fledgling company. The purchased their first dedicated exploration craft, a Freelancer DUR, and began the search for new systems.

In 2920, Marcus passed away and ownership of the company was passed on to his son, Lucius. That same year the young Caius Aelius Silanus began working alongside his father and their small group of employees. Under Lucius’ management the company grew, expanding their services to include other types of exploration, such as system reconnaissance.

In 2943, Caius’ father relinquished ownership of the company to him. Since then, Aurum Custodes has grown significantly; now offering twice the service capacity originally offered, and quadrupling their workforce.
