Founded by a dedicated group of healthcare professionals and engineers, the organization was born from a simple yet profound mission – to ensure that no life would be lost due to medical inaccessibility.

The First Fleet

The collective’s journey began with the groundbreaking RSI Apollo series of starships. These vessels were more than mere transportation; they were flying medical sanctuaries designed to provide critical care in the most challenging environments. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities and advanced life-support systems, the Apollo series became the cornerstone of AuroraMed’s operational capability.

As their vision expanded, so did their fleet. The Drake Cutlass Red brought unparalleled speed and versatility to emergency response, allowing rapid deployment to medical crises. The Anvil Terrapin Medic complemented this with robust design and advanced scanning technology, capable of conducting search and rescue missions in the most unforgiving terrains – from treacherous asteroid fields to hostile planetary surfaces.

Charter

AuroraMed Cooperative Charter

Preamble: We, the members of the AuroraMed Cooperative, hereby unite under the shared commitment to advancing medical and research practices within the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe. As a cooperative organization, we dedicate ourselves to providing essential medical services, conducting groundbreaking research, and fostering a role-playing (RP) community where all members can explore the art and science of healing, discovery, and exploration.

Article I: Name and Purpose

Section 1.1

Name: The organization shall be known as the AuroraMed Cooperative.

Section 1.2

Purpose: The primary mission of the AuroraMed Cooperative is to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of those in need across the Star Citizen universe. This will be achieved through the following core activities:

  • Providing medical aid to individuals and factions in distress.
  • Advancing medical technology through research and innovation.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive role-playing environment focused on medical gameplay.
  • Engaging in collaborative efforts with other organizations for mutual benefit and growth.

Article II: Organizational Structure

Section 2.1

Leadership: The AuroraMed Cooperative shall be led by an elected group of Directors who are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the organization.

The leadership structure is as follows:

  • Director of Medical Operations: Oversees medical operations and ensures the highest standard of care is provided.
  • Director of Research and Innovation: Leads the research division, focusing on developing new medical technologies and advancing the science of healing.
  • Director of Operations: Manages day-to-day operations, including resource management, fleet coordination, and logistical support.
  • Director of Community Engagement: Fosters the role-playing environment, encourages participation, and ensures a welcoming and inclusive culture.

Section 2.2

Membership: Membership in the AuroraMed Cooperative is open to all who share our vision and values. Members are expected to:

  • Contribute to medical, research, or RP activities.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards others.
  • Participate in missions and events when possible.

Members are classified into primary groups:

  • Medical Personnel: Responsible for direct patient care, shipboard medical services, and responding to emergency medical calls.
  • Researchers and Innovators: Focused on medical technology, biotechnical research, and advancement of new treatment methods.
  • Roleplayers and Supporters: Engage in immersive RP activities that add to the lore and realism of the Cooperative’s missions and services.

Article III: Core Activities and Values

Section 3.1

The AuroraMed Cooperative is committed to providing the following services to the greater Star Citizen community:

Medical Services:
  • Emergency Response: Dispatching medical personnel and ships to respond to distress calls, player injuries, and combat casualties.
  • Medical Clinics: Establishing and operating clinics(base) on planets, moons, and space stations to provide both routine and emergency medical care.
  • Rescue Missions: Transporting injured or ill individuals from dangerous situations and ensuring safe recovery to hospitals or medical facilities.

Section 3.2

Research and Innovation: A critical component of our mission is the pursuit of knowledge and technological advancement in medical practices. The Director of Research and Innovation shall oversee:

  • Resource supplies and freight: Dispatching needed medical supplies to further the goals of AuroraMed.
  • Ship engineering and support: Ensuring AuroraMed fleet is ready to serve the citizens of the verse.
  • Medical Research Projects: Identifying opportunities for improving current medical technology, developing new treatments, and pushing the boundaries of medical science.
  • Pharmaceutical Development: Creating new drugs, therapies, and treatment protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Medical Technology Testing: Engaging in trials to test new medical equipment, diagnostic tools, and life-saving technologies.

Section 3.3

Role-Playing and Immersion: RP is a central aspect of the AuroraMed Cooperative. We aim to create an immersive environment that:

Engages members in realistic medical scenarios, such as trauma care, patient recovery, and ethical dilemmas.
Fosters a narrative-driven experience that includes long-term character development and involvement in broader Star Citizen lore. Encourages collaboration and storytelling, where members can contribute to the Cooperative’s medical and research missions in meaningful ways.

Article IV: Code of Conduct and Ethics

Professionalism and Respect: All members of the AuroraMed Cooperative are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect.

Fleet and Assets: The AuroraMed Cooperative operates a variety of ships and assets to carry out our medical and research missions, including but not limited to:

  • Medical Ships (e.g., Cutlass Red, Terrapin Medic, Apollo, Endeavor): Equipped for field treatment, trauma care, and surgical operations.
  • Research Vessels & base: Equipped for conducting medical and scientific research in both space and planetary environments.
  • Support Craft: Including transports and freight, for moving resources to and from operations.

Section 5.2

Resource Management: Members will contribute to the cooperative’s operational needs, including the acquisition of medical supplies, research materials, and fleet maintenance. Collaborative efforts will be made to ensure the sustainability of our missions.

Article VI: Amendments and Revisions

Section 6.1

Amendments: This Charter may be amended or revised by a majority vote of the AuroraMed Cooperative’s leadership. Members will be consulted for their input on significant changes to the organization’s structure, values, or activities.

Section 6.2

Ratification: This Charter will be ratified upon agreement by the founding members of the AuroraMed Cooperative, and it will guide the organization’s actions as we grow and evolve in the Star Citizen universe.
