Organization Updates
Update [04/20/2015]
- Our Organization has decided to keep our Enjin website and teamspeak down for the time being, due to the majority of our members communicating through other means (RL connections, Steam, misc. TeamSpeak)
- We plan to acquire every HULL variation available.
- We are 31 members strong and still recruiting!
Update [9/26/2014] – [Edited 04/20/2015 to add more ships to the list]

To give an indication of the actual number of ships we possess; lets just say that, if we wanted to, we could provide ships and assets to an additional 40 members to fly individually, including the 26 we already have.
Give or take a few.
Normally we do not approve of broadcasting OR boasting our assets, yet at this point, we just find it ridiculously hilarious and will continue to add to the collection.
- We have chosen to downgrade the TS server for the time being. However it will be back at higher slot capacity at a later date.

Update [6/8/2014]
- We have finally set up our own Organization website.

- We’re 20 members strong and still have a few more friends and new members joining. Soon we’ll be reaching one of our goals of having enough people in the Organization, so that there will always be someone to fly with ♥
- Switched Teamspeak servers from one that we physically have, to a more stable platform. The TS can be reached through our website!
Update 2 [5/16/2014]
- Two updates in one day ^^
So we are now 15 members strong, with a few other members already lined up that are basically just waiting to pledge. None the less, WELCOME to our newly arrived members!
Update [5/16/2014]
- The group currently has a teamspeak server which goes up and down, depending. It’s actually coming off of an extra computer that we (The Founders) have and for now it serves it’s purpose until we build our own site, which we plan to run the server off of indefinitely.
- We have acquired the beginnings of our own server for SC. Just need a few more parts for it really to have it ready to go so that we can run our own universe of SC to alter and play with to our hearts content. This would naturally be mainly used for fleet operation practice/coordination and maybe some potential known-area exploration that can be done without disruption that we would normally see on the main SC server.
Note that we are based on the actual mainstream SC server, so we aren’t planning to use our own for anything other than what was previously stated. ^^

Organization Summary
The Black Dragoons are an organization comprised of like-minded individuals who endeavor to
sail the vast star ocean of space. As one, we band together to achieve our quests for knowledge,
power and territory. By doing so, we seek to empower our ranks so that we all have an opportunity
to accomplish the not only the organization’s objectives, but our own personal goals as well.

Short / Long Term Goals
♦ Build our numbers in order to ensure the full potential of fleet activities.
♦ Explore star systems and acquire-complete any freelancing/mercenary work in the interest of the organization.
♦ Acquire viable and potentially sustainable assets which will contribute to the organization’s ownership of multiple Carrier and Capital ships.
♦ Establish a permanent territory which will provide lucrative opportunities and a safe haven for our ranks.
Organization Practices
We of the Black Dragoons consider ourselves a “Private Military Company”. Though our members are free to choose to offer their services to other parties though platforms of Security and Infiltration roles,
The Black Dragoons as a whole does not currently plan to focus our efforts solely on those options.
Rather, our main objective as an organization is the exploration and possible colonization of space. Colonization referring to establishing our own territory in one or more systems which we can inhabit regularly and utilize to our advantage. This may be a long term goal, however it is a goal none the less.
BE ADVISED
This organization might condone behavior and activities relating to questionable actions such as, smuggling etc…
However our entity does not agree with nor will cooperate with piracy. If you are a citizen looking to join a group to engage in such activities, this is not the group for you. On that note, pirates should be cautious as our ranks will be directed to shoot on sight.

Leadership Structure & Duties
High Marshal
- Highest level of leadership within the organization that requires the rank of Fleet Admiral
and bears the power of the final approval OR the veto of Council propositions and proposals.
- Scheduling of sponsored events for their respective branch of the organization.
- Coordinating and approving of various operations for their respective branch of the organization as proposed by the branch’s Arbiters.
- Ensuring the direction, security and future of the Organization’s members and assets.
- Approving of member advancement.

Arbiter
- Leadership role which requires the rank of Wing Commander and bears the responsibility
of voting on Council propositions and proposals.
- Is given direct charge of a designated command, granted to by the High Marshal and Council.
- Planning and executing operations for their respective Command.
- Management / Assignment of members under direct Command.

Counselor
- Leadership role which requires the rank of Captain and bears the opportunity to present potential proposals and propositions to the rest of the Council.
- Final Phase recruitment and replenishment of the Organization’s members.
Advocate
- Highest level of leadership which “Pilot Grade I” ranked members of the Organization can obtain.
- Maintaining relations between the Organization and other entities in which the Advocate is a part of.

Organization Composition
The Council
The council is made up of members of the organization who hold the leadership roles of:- High Marshal
- Arbiter
- Counselor
Each role has it’s own limitations, prerequisites and responsibilities which in turn spreads out the overall
loadout of duties and tasks for each individual.
Members of the Council will propose and debate ideas and other subjects up for vote for the sake of
the betterment of the Organization, whether that be in forms of assets acquisition, fleet freelance

What this Organization is looking for
- Goal oriented members with an understanding and respect of rank authority.
- (At this time) Casual / Regular / Hardcore members from all timezones to establish a 24/7 play schedule
in which members can participate in organized operations and free play.
- Members without a ship are as of right now accepted as long as a plan of action has been discussed
regarding their role and contribution to the Organization.
- Affiliate members are welcome!
- Members with a strong Role-Playing background are welcome!

Policies
♦ The Black Dragoons does not condone nor support piracy and therefore is not a group that will participate
in reflecting activities. A standing Shoot on Sight order will be issued to our ranks when encountering pirate vessels.
♦ Affiliate members who belong to a Pirate Organization as their main group will not be allowed to join.
♦ Activities between Organizations that affiliate members belong to are encouraged as long as they are
coordinated correctly and been approved through the proper channels.
♦ A teamspeak server is provided for our members that will remain open 24/7. It will be password protected,
however members may bring in other individuals not part of the Organization into the teamspeak if they wish.
