Left for dead after the brutal raid, the survivors, led by a former UEE naval officer named Captain Erynn Vale, vowed never to let such atrocities occur unchecked.
Erynn Vale gathered like-minded individuals—ex-soldiers, disgruntled mercenaries, and disillusioned bounty hunters—to form a group that would be more than just vigilantes. They would be a force that operated in the shadows, answering distress calls, dismantling pirate factions, and dealing swift justice where bureaucracy and corruption failed.
The Black Veil Sentinels took their name from the black shroud of smoke that lingered after the massacre, a haunting reminder of what they swore to prevent.
