1. an unpredictable or unforeseen event, typically one with extreme consequences.
The Black Swan Network holds that systems of oppression must be dismantled by any means necessary. Violence, theft, extortion, propaganda and espionage are the tools of our trade. Fascists, capitalists, authoritarians and other would-be oppressors are our targets. Intolerance will not be tolerated. The Network advocates for collective direct action, as it is the most effective means of enacting the will of the people.
Charter
The Black Swan Network forbids the following behaviors in its members, whether or not they are acting on behalf of The Network at the time, on the grounds that they are tools of oppression. Any member of The Network caught engaging in these behaviors will be removed from our ranks and will not receive our protection from reprisal.
- Racism
- Classism
- Sexism
- Ableism
- Trafficking and/or enslavement of sapient beings (This does not include smuggling willing beings across any borders.)
- Violence against non-targets (Proactive self-defense and the defense of others is allowed.)
- Harassment of non-targets
- Exploiting non-targets for personal gain
- Pursuing a UEE agenda
As stated in the Network Manifesto, “Fascists, capitalists, authoritarians and other would-be oppressors are our targets.”
The Black Swan Network is horizontally organized, meaning that the only leaders in The Network are elected and recalled by way of democratic committee. The founder will operate as a default delegate and commander until membership is large enough and it is seen fit to recall them.
Due to the necessity for secrecy and security concerning Network operations, trusted members will be delegated to a counterintelligence committee dedicated to rooting-out moles in new volunteers and our existing membership. As stated previously, these delegates are subject to recall by democratic committee.
The Black Swan Network also engages in the practice of Mutual Aid, or voluntary reciprocal exchange of aid for mutual benefit of members, allies and those under protection of The Network.
While The Network is anti-capitalist in nature, it does not forbid the accumulation of resources for a reasonable life under the existing capitalist hierarchy. The revolution requires class traitors.
Network members and allies are encouraged to pursue the proliferation of Anarchist ideals throughout the cosmos whenever possible.
