Origins (Early Days – Formation)

Started as a small, tight-knit group of real-life friends, venturing into the ‘verse for the thrill of combat and cargo hauling. Early operations focused on PVE bounty hunting and mercenary work, securing trade routes and eliminating pirate threats. Accidental exposure to piracy sparked curiosity—what started as isolated raids turned into a calculated mix of lawful security and opportunistic piracy.

The Rise (Expansion & Evolution)

As operations grew, the group acquired its flagship—the Aegis Hammerhead, marking their transition from a casual crew to a feared fleet. Black Tide’s reputation spread: respected as security specialists, feared as unpredictable opportunists. Official recruitment opened, welcoming pilots who could adapt to Black Tide’s way—those who thrive in combat but know when to bend the rules.

Present Day (Modern Black Tide Operations)

Now a fully recognized Private Military & Mercenary Organization, balancing contract security, lawful cargo hauling, and select piracy raids. Holding true to its founding principle: “Order when needed, chaos when profitable.” Loyal to the crew above all—Black Tide stands as a force of nature, neither hero nor villain, navigating the shifting tides of the ‘verse.

We are Black Tide—mercenaries, traders, and opportunists who carve our own path through the stars. Bound not by rigid laws but by loyalty to each other, we seek fortune, battle, and the thrill of the unknown. With our flagship, the Aegis Hammerhead, we stand as a force to be reckoned with, offering protection where needed and striking when opportunity calls.
Motives

To thrive in the chaos – We embrace the unpredictable nature of the ‘verse, adapting to the tides of war, trade, and power. To protect our own – Strength is found in unity. We defend our crew, our contracts, and our interests with unyielding resolve. To seize opportunity – When the job is right, we trade. When the moment demands, we take. The ‘verse rewards the bold, and we are nothing less.

We are neither heroes nor villains—we are realists. We recognize the ever-changing balance between law and survival, between order and disorder. We enforce security where it benefits us, and we disrupt when the risk is worth the reward. Loyalty is earned, strength is respected, and fear is a tool—wield them all wisely.

Article I – Purpose & Identity

In the lawless expanse of the ‘verse, we carve our own path. Bound not by strict allegiance but by the strength of our bonds, we stand as warriors, traders, and opportunists. We take contracts, protect cargo, and hunt pirates—but we know when to play the pirate ourselves. With our flagship, the Aegis Hammerhead, we bring order when necessary and chaos when profitable. We are not roleplayers—we are real pilots seeking real action.

Article II – Membership & Conduct

Black Tide is open to skilled and committed pilots—whether mercenaries, traders, or opportunists. Loyalty lies with the crew first and foremost. Members are expected to watch each other’s backs, whether in battle or in business. We respect competence, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in combat and trade alike. We are not bound by law, but we act with reason—decisions are made in the interest of survival and success. The crew shall operate without unnecessary drama—we play for the thrill, the challenge, and the spoils.

Article III – Operations & Activities

Security & Combat: Engage in lawful bounty hunting, anti-piracy operations, and contract security. Cargo Hauling: Undertake legal trading and transport missions, ensuring profitable deals. Opportunistic Piracy: Execute tactical raids against well-positioned targets—profit over principle. Fleet Operations: Coordinate large-scale missions utilizing the flagship Aegis Hammerhead and supporting vessels.

Article IV – Leadership & Decision Making

Leadership is built on respect, capability, and results—titles mean little if not backed by action. Tactical decisions are made by the group, prioritizing survival, success, and profit. Members may propose new operations or expansions, but the crew moves as one when the time comes.
