History

Septimius Severus, The Blooded Warmaster: Former Captain of the Blood Angels, now a fearsome warlord of Khorne. Septimius leads his chapter with an iron fist, driven by his insatiable thirst for blood and skulls.

Mastery of the Black Rage and the Red Thirst

Embracing their new dark patron, the Blood Demons found a way to harness the Black Rage and the Red Thirst, transforming these curses into potent tools of war. Unlike their loyalist kin, who see these conditions as debilitating, the Blood Demons have embraced them fully, channeling the madness and bloodlust into a focused, controlled fury.

The Black Rage, a state of berserk fury where the afflicted believe they are Sanguinius during the Siege of Terra, is now seen as a gift from Khorne. Those in its throes become unstoppable berserkers, their strength and ferocity magnified tenfold. Septimius Severus and his dark apostle, Faust Stormbringer, have devised rituals and blood rites that help their warriors to master the Black Rage, allowing them to retain a large degree of tactical awareness while still tapping into the immense power it provides.

The Red Thirst, the insatiable craving for blood, has also been embraced. Instead of fighting this urge, the Blood Demons indulge it, seeing it as a sacred hunger that pleases Khorne. Through dark rituals and blood offerings, they have learned to control the Red Thirst, turning it into a source of strength and resilience. This controlled bloodlust makes them ferocious in battle, able to fight on despite grievous wounds and overwhelming odds.

Manifesto

To all who bear witness to our deeds,

We, the Blood Demons, declare our eternal allegiance to Khorne, the Blood God. Once noble warriors of the Imperium, we have cast aside our former lives and embraced the true path of blood and slaughter. No longer shackled by the false promises of the Emperor, we revel in the chaos and destruction that Khorne commands.

Our Beliefs and Convictions:

- Embrace of the Black Rage and Red Thirst: What was once our curse is now our greatest strength. We have learned to control and harness the Black Rage, transforming it into a focused and unstoppable fury. The Red Thirst is no longer a mere craving but a sacred hunger that fuels our might in battle.

- Blood for the Blood God: Our existence is dedicated to the spilling of blood. Each drop shed in Khorne’s name brings us closer to his divine favor. We seek out battle, not for glory or honor, but for the sheer joy of the kill and the promise of more bloodshed.

- Skulls for the Skull Throne: Every enemy slain is an offering to Khorne. We collect the skulls of our foes as trophies and symbols of our devotion. Each skull is a testament to our strength and a mark of our loyalty.

- Chaos and Destruction: We are the harbingers of chaos, spreading terror and devastation wherever we tread. The galaxy shall tremble at the mention of our name, knowing that the Blood Reavers bring only death and ruin.

Our Oaths and Vows:

- We vow to uphold the tenets of Khorne, never faltering in our pursuit of blood and skulls.
- We swear to embrace the fury of the Black Rage and the hunger of the Red Thirst, using them to annihilate our foes.
- We pledge to defend Vranax, our fortress-world, and maintain it as a bastion of chaos and bloodshed.
- We commit to eternal warfare, knowing that through endless battle, we honor Khorne and earn our place in his favor.

Charter

I. Name and Allegiance

- The chapter shall henceforth be known as the Blood Demons.
- We pledge our undying loyalty to Khorne, the Blood God, and renounce the false Emperor.

II. Purpose and Mission

- Our primary mission is to spill blood in the name of Khorne, gathering skulls for the Skull Throne.
- We shall master the Black Rage and Red Thirst, using them as weapons to unleash unparalleled fury upon our enemies.
- We aim to spread terror and destruction across the galaxy, showing the true power of the Blood God.

III. Organization

- The chapter shall be led by the Blooded Warlord, currently Septimus Severus, whose word is law.
- The command structure includes the Chaos Champion (second-in-command), Dark Seer (spiritual leader), and Captains of the warbands.
- Each warband will consist of Chaos Berzerkers, Raptors, and other dedicated warriors of Khorne.

IV. Homeworld and Stronghold

- Our home world, Vranax, serves as a fortress and temple to Khorne. The Bastion of Thal is our dark monastery.
- We shall defend Vranax with our lives, turning it into an impenetrable bastion of Chaos.

V. Rituals and Practices

- Blood rituals and sacrifices to Khorne shall be conducted regularly to maintain his favor.
- The Black Rage and Red Thirst shall be embraced through specific rites, enhancing our battle prowess.
- Skull collecting and offerings to the Skull Throne are mandatory for all warriors.

VI. Code of Conduct

- Cowardice and mercy are forbidden; we must embody the fury and relentlessness of Khorne.
- Betrayal within the chapter is punishable by death and will be carried out through ritual combat.
