History

“Born from failure. Forged in fire.”

The name Blackstone was first whispered in the chaos of the Tiber War. A small UEE Marine unit — call sign Blackstone — was left behind after a failed evacuation on the frontier world of Tiber II. Cut off from command, outnumbered, and presumed dead, the survivors held their ground for twelve days against overwhelming odds before extracting themselves through sheer grit and desperation.

When they finally made it back to UEE space, they found nothing waiting for them — no recognition, no medals, no home. Disillusioned but unbroken, they turned their experience into something new: an organization that fought for credits and principle, not politics or empty promises.

That was 2927.

Over the decades, Blackstone evolved from a handful of ex-Marines into a disciplined, contract-based military outfit. Its founders brought structure and honor to the often-chaotic world of private security, establishing a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and ruthless efficiency.

As the UEE expanded and corporate warfare flared across frontier systems, Blackstone diversified — adding industrial divisions focused on mining, salvage, and logistics to sustain their growing fleet. Their crews became experts at turning battlefields into profit, recovering wrecks, reclaiming resources, and rebuilding from the ashes.

Today, Blackstone Mercenary Corp. operates as a self-sufficient force spanning multiple systems. They answer to no government and bow to no corporation. Every credit they earn, every contract they complete, and every ship they field is a testament to the same creed that kept their founders alive on Tiber II:

“We fight for those who pay us — and for those who stand beside us.”

Blackstone Mercenary Corp.
Forged in conflict. Bound by honor. Paid in full.
