Blackstone Knights / BSK

We are a mercenary oriented organization and we intend to sell our services to those in need. We are not a pirate or shadow organization and we are very serious about fulfilling our contracts legally and fairly.

As a unit we will not be limiting our recruits to fighter jocks but we will be directing our efforts towards skilled players who excel in all areas of Star Citizen. This will include but is not limited to piloting, market trading, mining/production, and exploration. Preference to operations will be given to active players who contribute to the unit in one of those 4 categories.

Here are a list of roles to choose from:

• Marine – boarding or planet-side operations
• Space Superiority – dog-fighting, Interdiction and anti-capital ship duties
• Intelligence/Recon – Information gathering (in game or outside of the game) and enemy detection.
• Command and Control – leading and/or planning operations for squads or fleet actions.
• Trader/Mercantile – Transporting legal goods and/or working the galactic market.
• Anti-Piracy – Actively seek out and destroying player and non-player pirates
• Privateer – Govt commissioned (by a letter of marque) to seek out and capture or destroy enemies of the state (usually during time of war)
• Bounty Hunter – Paid killers who legally seek out lawbreakers regardless of affiliation
• Explorer – Boldly go where no one has gone before
• Miner – Mine and/or process raw materials for production

The Blackstone Knights are working hard to build a name in MMO gaming, a reputation that has been built on the beliefs that are held by the core and founding members of the guild.

Members of BSK are expected to use their common sense, and where most people understand what this means we still rely on our corp mates and leadership to help keep each other in line when the shenanigans get out of hand. In a perfect world a Code of Conduct would not be needed, but we are all different people with different beliefs, personalities and definitely different senses of humor.

As BSK grows some things need to be stated so that we are sure everyone is on the same page. If you EVER have an issue, have a question or a problem do not hesitate to contact your game leader or officers for anything.

Blackstone Knights was founded on the belief that in a multi gaming guild leadership should be accessible to all members of the guild without all of the elitist tough guy internet dictator guild leader crap.

In Game Conduct, PvE and PvP

You are the face of Blackstone Knights. Your conduct in game in PVE or PVP gives other gamers a direct impression of what we are all about.

PVE: Do what you need to do, have fun and play nice with others. If someone needs help do your best to assist and if you cannot just be polite about it.

PVP: Keep the smack talking to a minimum in game and on the forums. Its not always that easy but actions speak louder than words. Kill who you are going to kill and call it good.

If someone freaking out on you in game or posting a forum thread complaining about you or the guild because they received a good old fashion BSK beat down leave it at that. Nerdrage means your doing your job as a pvper.

Forum Shenanigans

Post on games forums as you need to for information gathering/ game discussion, but when it comes to politics leave it to the game leaders and officer. Don’t post trash, don’t be a worthless troll. Nothing irritates leadership more than a crappy one line no thought worthless trolling.

Botting, Hacking, Exploiting

Do not do it, it will not be tolerated. This needs to be stated again, do not do it, it will not be tolerated. Do not use third party botting and hacking software. You will be booted, no exceptions.

Respect

Respect your corp mates, they are your family, we all fight and die together in our respective games. Liberal use of racial slurs and bigotry will get you booted.

No Drama

If you have a problem that you cannot be handled among you and the other drama queen involved, talk to game leadership. Drama posts will be deleted from the forums and the chat box, and leadership is very heavy handed in this. Airing dirty laundry on games open forums will not be tolerated.

Politics, NAPs, Alliance Etiquette:

This is left to the discretion of the game leaders. In general do not use any type of alliance chat unless it has been cleared through the game leader. Alliance chats are not for chit chat, they serve a purpose so keep that in mind.

Common Sense

Use it. We are all here to have fun so keep that in mind.
