Pirating isn’t our sole objective nor is it our first. Our prime directive is creating an atmosphere filled with entertainment and the opportunity to acquire profit in all of its forms. If a member looks forward to smuggling, have at it. If another wants to be that explorer, go for it. The key is we are not limited by a thing called “morals” when accomplishing our goals. Anyone that gets in our way, regardless of our tactics, declares themselves the enemy.

Within the syndicate though, trust is paramount. We treat each other differently than we would treat any other. There is honor amongst thieves within this fraternity.

We will be following a profit model that allows everyone that participated in a joint mission to progress at an equal rate regardless of initial backer investment. All costs between all participants are calculated communally. All profit will be split equally after calculating the difference between total revenue and total cost to the fleet per mission. This will ultimately create an environment for less expensive assets (IE: Escort Pilot) that incentivizes successful teamwork and execution of mission parameters with much higher rewards but punishes failure more severely. For more expensive assets (Capital Ship Admiral), success translates to much lower profit over a traditional payroll system but less harsh consequences when mission failure occurs. 10% of profit (subject for collective review), after total cost is subtracted from total revenue, will be set aside for the Black Sun syndicate to create a financial buffer for the purpose of giving support to Black Sun members that require it based on a review and assessment of the other members; to add to a Black Sun syndicate owned capital ship investment fund; Bonuses for MVP’s of a mission.
