A volunteer group supporting all UEE citizens, regardless of their record. We respond to threats, protect communities, and provide aid where it’s needed, giving every citizen the chance to stand together when it counts.
The concept of the Citizen Defense Force was first proposed in 2944 during a speech by Bryce Balewa at the Civilian Security Summit. Drawing on his experience as Special Agent-in-Charge of the Ferron system, Balewa argued for an organization capable of coordinating the efforts and resources of militias, law enforcement, and volunteer groups. After the speech, he was approached by Amanda Xiang, a security consultant on the Militia Mobilization Initiative legislation, and together they drafted a proposal for the creation of the Citizen Defense Force. The proposal was approved by the Senate Defense Committee, and the Citizen Defense Force was officially established in January 2956.
From the outset, the Citizen Defense Force has been inclusive, welcoming all UEE citizens, lawful, rogue, or anywhere in between who are willing to stand together to protect communities, provide aid, and respond when the verse is in need.
We are the Citizen Defense Force. Our purpose is simple. Support, protect, and stand ready for all UEE citizens, no matter their past, their record, or their path. In a universe full of danger, chaos, and opportunity, we are the hand that answers when the verse calls.
We do not judge. We respond to crises, defend communities, safeguard trade and transport, and provide aid wherever it is needed. We work with militias, law enforcement, and independent volunteers alike, creating a network of citizens united not by rank or title, but by commitment and action.
Every member has a place. Every citizen matters. We are inclusive, vigilant, and unyielding. In the stars, as on the ground, we stand together. Ready to protect, ready to serve, and ready to uphold the greater good of all who call the UEE home.
Purpose
The Citizen Defense Force exists to support, protect, and stand with all UEE citizens. Lawful, rogue, or anywhere in between, every member has a place and a voice. When the Verse calls, we answer.
Membership
All citizens are welcome. We do not judge pasts or records. Participation is voluntary, commitment is personal, and every member contributes in their own way.
Guiding Principle
Every member is equal. Every voice matters. Every action counts.
Operations
Missions include aiding citizens in danger, supporting communities, escorting trade, and coordinating with anyone willing to act. Members are encouraged to act freely and responsibly in pursuit of the mission.
Structure
We maintain only the minimal structure necessary to organize efforts and respond to crises. Leadership exists to coordinate, not command. Every member has the right to act within the bounds of our shared mission.
Values
Equality. Every member is equal, regardless of past, status, or record.
Freedom. Members are free to act responsibly within the mission.
Unity. We stand together when the Verse needs us.
Responsibility. Every action matters. Every citizen counts.
