Once upon a time, in the land of sugar and sweets,Carebears roamed free to dance and frolic in the fields of fairy floss and candy canes. They traded in hugs and kisses and lived free and happy.

One dark day, a shadow rolled over the land, thunder roared and fire rained down. The land of sugar and sweets twisted and melted. From under the mud, a new pleasure was found… crack cocaine!! For under the sweet soil of cramelised sugar, under the candy cane trees was an 8 ball of joy. As with all good things, it would soon run dry.

The Carebears sniffed and snorted their plant away. As the core of their world depleted, the trade of hugs and kisses gave way to tugs and whispers. With their homeworld now hollow, they ventured to the stars… ever spelunking for that sweetness to fill their little hearts.

The Carebears became jaded and lost. Vengeful, and unsated, they made their way across the verse, moving ever further from their home. Now lost unto darkness they roam free among the stars… forever hunting sweetness, trading their hugs and their kisses for lives and deep scars.
