Strength in shadow. Loyalty in blood.

History

Crimson Eclipse was forged under a dominant interstellar regime known as the Dominion, operating as a highly disciplined war faction structured like a private military command. They were not rulers or innovators, but enforcers of control where conventional forces failed. Their identity was built on conflict, with war serving as both their purpose and foundation. Their homeworld, Sythros, was an industrialized planet designed for weapon development and military production, housing the Dominion’s most dangerous creation, the Displacement Engine. This system had the power to transfer entire fleets, armies, and planetary masses into unknown dimensions, drawing its energy directly from the core of Sythros itself, making the planet inseparable from the weapon’s function.

During the final stages of a large scale war, a coordinated enemy strike targeted Sythros while the Displacement Engine was active, causing catastrophic instability. Instead of controlled deployment, the system fractured reality itself, instantly removing half of the planet along with leadership, fleets, and infrastructure from their original galaxy. Those who survived the event were not destroyed, but displaced, emerging on the outskirts of the Milky Way near the Stanton system. Cut off from the Dominion and stripped of command, Crimson Eclipse found themselves isolated in a galaxy that did not recognize them. With no communication, no reinforcements, and no way back, the realization set in that their original purpose had ended, and whatever remained of their past was lost.

Rather than collapse, Crimson Eclipse adapted, evolving into a feared and calculated military force within the Stanton and Pyro systems. They established hidden bases, took on high risk operations such as bounty hunting and infiltration, and rebuilt their structure around loyalty, discipline, and brotherhood rather than external command. Under the leadership of General Phil and a network of Colonels, they maintained their chain of command while reshaping their purpose in this new reality. Though no longer serving the Dominion, they still operate under the same core belief that defines them, Strength In Shadow. Loyalty In Blood. Now functioning as a self-sustaining war faction, they continue to expand their influence while searching for answers about the fracture, the fate of Sythros, and the possibility that what was lost may not be gone at all.
