In the Beginning

CentoriCore has very humble beginnings, and it was not by sheer luck or happenstance, that it came in to existence. In fact, it all started with a coalition of a different name, even a different purpose. Sparti Republic, a powerful coalition focused on taking over the galaxy, one star system at a time. The Republic had little interest in politics or diplomacy. The Republic understood only one thing WAR! From a young age Republic children where molded and shaped into powerful weapons of tactics, recon, demo, and hand to hand combat, essentially they became the ultimate soldier. These soldiers were sent throughout the galaxy to conquer, invade, or enslave anyone who stood in their way. So, the Republic grew far beyond what any of its founders had hoped. This expansion lead to untold wealth and power for the Sparti Republic.

Sparti Republic’s golden age lasted for 12 centuries and spanned 20 thousand star systems and had thousands of habited worlds. The Republic spent most of it’s vast wealth on war machines and powerful new weapons. These great weapons allowed the Republic to expand but came with a heavy price. That price eventually weighed heavily on the Republic’s government and it had to make many sacrifices and slowly but surely the Republic began to waiver. As the economic strain grew, the central government began to crumble and many of the habited worlds began to separate from the Republic. The divide grew and grew, and eventually the Republic began to fall completely.

The Fall of the Republic

With concerns growing the Republic faced it’s greatest foe yet, it’s own people. The rebellion took swift action against the Republic and with their overwhelming numbers and superior firepower the Rebellion swiftly crushed the Old Republic into the history books. Much of the large- scale battles took place on Roma, the Republic’s home world, leaving it as a burning pile of rubble and waste. Once the fighting had subsided and “the dust had settled” the once republic was no more. The rebellion had been victorious in its fight to bring down the Sparti Republic, but they still had a long, tough road ahead of them.

As the Capital of Roma, once a bustling megacity, lay in ruin, a power vacuum, a fight for the top, now rages on. There are four major contenders; The Templists, who value religion over everything, The Remnants, pieces of the old Republic leadership, The Venture, these guys are all about elite capitalism, and finally the CentoriCore, an universal, all inclusive, multi- platform organization. As the three firstly mentioned corporate giants, used brute force to try to dissuade each other, the fourth, CentoriCore, uses more stealthy tactics, like espionage. The others saw these tactics as cowardice, but it gave CentoriCore the upper hand.

Due to the refusal to heed the warnings from many of their top advisers that a direct conflict with ruthless and cunning soldiers of The Venture would be a mistake. Aldus Magnas, a cold and bitter man, lead his ever shrinking army of religious zealots, The Templists, right into The Venture’s trap and they erased them from this world. Even, Aldus had been slain in the fighting and now as quickly as this feud had arose, it was now looking like an end to this conflict was nearing. However, there was some talk of betrayal amongst the leaders of The Venture, which till this point had tasted victory after victory on the battlefields. Many of the civilians, who had suffered greatly during these wars, felt hopeful that the fighting would subside soon, especially now that The Templists where defeated and it seemed that The Venture now had a clear path to leadership. But, this just was not the case and CentoriCore had other plans for The Venture. You see the CentoriCore, or just The Core as they like to be called had been patiently waiting for there enemy to grow hopeful of victory and strike when they least expected it.

CentoriCore had been using intelligence gathering and waiting for the perfect time to attack its enemies. That time was growing close now. The Core prepared its main fleet for a two pronged invasion of the planet formally known as , “Roma” and the new seat of power, Tygus, a beautiful, lush and wealthy planet. A planet that is truly fit of an Emperor. CentoriCore and created cloaking technology that no space-faring race had ever seen. This tech allowed for The Core to remain completely undetected as they slowly crept into both star systems and surrounded both worlds with massive fleets. At this point in time The Venture’s main fleet was still weeks away from these two vital systems, moping up what was left of the Remnants. This meant that the Core would devastate The Venture’s new capital and finish off the power base they had created. This plan was a bold one but, it came off without a hitch and The Core dealt two devastating blows to The Venture which all but crippled them completely. These bold actions by the Core had cut off supply lines for the Venture’s navy and ground forces in all systems they controlled, which meant soldiers where starving and starting to rebel against their commanders. Finally, in all the bloodshed and chaos since the fall of the Republic, with the Core victorious the galaxy finally saw peace again. In fact the Core devoted itself to creating a new golden age for its new empire.

The Rise of CentoriCore

As the Core’s leaders started to settle in to their new roles in the Galactic Empire, the Core was mostly focused on rebuilding what was lost, with some vast infrastructure improvements, and also building the newly formed CoreStore, a centralized Galactic Market to stimulate economic growth throughout the empire. At first the CoreStore was not well received by the traditionally independent merchants but, they quickly realized this gave them they opportunity to form Merchant Guilds and unionize, which gave them ultimate control of their own destiny’s. As economies all over the empire started to grow and prosper, the CoreImperium(Government) focused next on agriculture and livestock, creating entire worlds for nothing but farming, called AgroWorlds. In fact, that wasn’t there only large-scale terraforming operation, they also terraformed a few worlds into Resort Worlds for tourism, which stimulated the economy further and by the end of the first decade of the Core’s rule a new golden age had started.

As many who lived in poverty under the Republic ‘s rule, now lived decent lives and made very reasonable wages. Unemployment plummeted and education took priority in many of the core worlds.

Rendalli Centori, the creator and founder of the CentoriCore also, it’s current Imperius(emperor). Centori is a cold, calculating man but, he still shows much compassion for his people. Many think he actually, truly Love’s his people however, is icy heart would never let him admit that too anyone. Centori keeps to himself, mostly only really making appearances when his stature requires him too. Though it is said that he wanders the streets at night, no one knows what it is he does exactly on these “walks” late at night. Rendalli is most definitely a peculiar man but, he seems to sincerely care for his people. Under his rule we have seen immense growth and incredible prosperity. Centori also made a promise to the people to bring about an age of Immortality, for everyone. That promise was kept by Centori and Immortality became possible through nano technologies, that only cost 2 Credits each to manufacture and thus the age of Immortality began. Centori managed to keep his promise too and Immortality was for truly everyone with only a 5 Credit price everyone, I mean everyone could afford the treatment and POOF, just like that death became a thing of the past.
