Celestial Horizon Corporation / CHORIZONS

Celestial Horizon Corporation is an EVE Online Corporation that was founded January 17, 2004 by Ishkur (a. k. a. Tarpeia). A number of members that were originally from Earth & Beyond’s Galileo server were the first members of the Corporation. A rapid expansion of membership occurred after March 17, 2004 when Electronic Arts announced the shutdown of Earth & Beyond.

The rapid expansion of membership and the availability of new, green players resulted in a number of wars being declared on the Corporation. This was a first taste of combat for many of the members. However, the pilots of the Corporation persevered and adapted to the changes without losing focus on mining and industrial operations.

Over the next few years, the Corporation and its members had a huge effect on the EVE Online Universe. The Corporation was the first to build and deploy a player-built Outpost station as well as construct the first super-capital Titan. The members of the Corporation have participated in many of the wars that had and still have profound impact on the EVE landscape.

While Celestial Horizon Corporation continues to have an effect on EVE Online, the expansion into the Star Citizen Universe is a worthy successor to that legacy.
