History

Many centuries ago, college students often times had to take out loans or earn scholarships to pay for their education. One group of college students began working at their Universities IT Department. Then, one day, a new government policy was passed that cut the hours the students could work. Outraged but unable to do anything, the students turned to space travel to earn the money they needed. As time passed the students began to focus on transporting goods and escorting either their transports or the transports of those that could afford them.

As the students began to graduate, they found that they had enjoyed their days as cargo and escort pilots, so the students came to a decision to create their own organization to continue this profitable venture. Thus, the Dun Clan was born.

As time passed, new students seeking money to pay for school, as well as people from other walks of life, came to join the Dun Clan, and, as the Clan expanded, so did their ventures. Some in the clan worked together on mining operations, while others explored the galaxy looking for new jump points or resources the Clan could use or sell. Rumors are that their may even be a few who have chosen the life of piracy.

Thus, the Dun Clan continues to grow even to today.

Manifesto

The Dun Clan’s main goal is to make money. How that is achieved is not strictly enforced. Whether you seek money through mining, transport, exploration, or other less savory options, the Dun Clan will not judge you. Our views are our own and it doesn’t matter if you are a strict UEE follower or a Levski revolutionist, you are welcome in the clan. The Dun Clan is called a Clan because our members are to treat each other like family.

Charter

The Dun Clan has only a few rules:
First, the Clan is meant to be a second family, so if you use less savory means for your income, avoid attacking your clansmen.
Second, duels are allowed if a dispute arises; however, it is strongly advised that such duels take place in a simulator. If the parties involved desire to have the duel in real space it is suggested that a third clansmen with a search and rescue vehicle and medical training be present to deal with the aftermath.
