Aliit ori’shya tal’din. Family is more than blood.
Starting out in Area 18 & Baijini Point
Our family started simply, split between the crowded docks of Area 18 and the busy orbital decks of Baijini Point high above ArcCorp. We weren’t wealthy corporate executives or military officers. We were just a small group of everyday independent pilots, cargo haulers, and orbital mechanics who met by chance in the local bars, refinery decks, and hangar bays. We quickly realized that flying alone in the Stanton system was a guaranteed way to get targeted by pirates or taken advantage of by big corporations. To survive, we started grouping up to share mission payouts, split fuel costs, and keep each other safe. Over time, those business partnerships turned into genuine friendships, and those friendships turned into an Aliit—a true found family.
Saving for the Polaris
For a long time, we flew small, rented, and borrowed ships, taking on any job we could find around ArcCorp’s moons. We mined moon rock, hauled scrap metal, and ran basic security escorts from the surface up to orbit. We lived frugally, and every single member contributed a portion of their hard-earned credits into a shared family vault. After years of collective saving, hard work, and mutual trust, we finally achieved our ultimate goal. We walked into the showroom and purchased our crown jewel: a brand-new RSI Polaris. This corvette is the pride of our family. It isn’t just a military warship to us; it is a mobile home, bought by the sweat and sacrifice of every single brother and sister in the clan.
The Family Today
Today, our family operates directly out of our two main hubs: staging heavy planetary operations out of Area 18 and keeping our fleet serviced at Baijini Point. The station gives us the perfect vantage point to monitor the trade lanes and launch our flagship at a moment’s notice. Our RSI Polaris serves as our main defensive shield, allowing us to take on massive fleet operations and protect our members wherever they fly. We are still a small, close-knit group. We don’t care about building a massive empire; we just care about looking out for our own. We keep our hangar doors open for independent pilots who are tired of flying alone and are looking for a reliable, trustworthy family to call home.
In the cold, unpredictable expanse of the Verse, single pilots are merely targets, and massive corporate armadas treat their people like expendable numbers. We choose a different path. We are not a corporate conglomerate, nor are we bound by blind religious zeal. We are an Aliit—a Clan. A Found Family. We believe that true family isn’t defined by where you were born or who is related; it is forged in the fires of the cockpit, in the trenches of close combat, and in the shared defense of our fleet. When you fly under our banner, you are no longer an isolated pilot drifting through the Verse. You are part of a fiercely loyal circle where every member has a purpose, a voice, and a home.
Faith in One Another (Burc’ya): Our greatest shield is the absolute trust we place in each other. We do not look to gods or distant leadership for security—we look to the crew standing on our left and right. In the dark of deep space, you can fly with the absolute certainty that your family has your back, blindly trusting that every pilot, gunner, and engineer will perform their duty to bring everyone home safe.
The Strength of the Collective (Aliit): The family always comes first. We pool our resources, share our profits, and coordinate our fleets. If a brother or sister needs a ship, the hangar doors are open. We do not leave our people behind.
Honor in Action (Kar’ta): We do not mass-recruit, nor do we welcome toxic or chaotic elements into our home. We protect our culture fiercely. Every member is expected to respect their crewmates, pull their weight on a multi-crew deck, and represent the family with honor across the stars.
Mastery of the Craft (Verd): Whether your passion lies in mining deep planetary crusts, hauling massive cargo through dangerous trade lanes, or manning the heavy turrets of our gunships, your role matters. We train together, optimize our crews, and turn small teams into lethal, efficient units.
The Vow of Adoption (Gai Bal Manda): We welcome anyone with the heart, loyalty, and vibe to stand alongside us. Once you pass your trials and take the vows, you are given our name, full access to our shared assets, and the absolute protection of the entire clan.
