“S&R superiority through combat excellence…”

L.O.S.T is an ambitious medical organization unlike any other in the Verse. Combining tactical combat with Search & Rescue – we offer our services as combat medics for hire! Submit Application

History

What do we do?

We combine the medical profession with tactical combat to create a unique flavour not seen elsewhere in the ‘Verse. This also creates a product we can offer for in-game currency upon Persistent universe launch. Think of it as combat medics for hire, saving people while mid combat – for a price.

Who are we?

We are first and foremost gamers like you, and we have been at it for years. We are a large multi-gaming community flying under the name of LOST (www.clanlost.com). We can have strength in numbers, without anyone feeling like just another face in the crowd. It all boils down to organisation, and ours is a solid foundation that greatness can be built upon.

What are our goals?

We are quite ambitious for an organization rooted in the medical profession. Not only do we want to be the best at Search & Rescue, but also do it while the battlefields are active. On top of this we aim to ruthlessly eliminate all competition that are operating in sectors we consider ours. This is done through organization wars, where we will direct our military assets towards the competition.

What we can offer?

A friendly 18+ environment where people can grow. We use an external application system that weeds out immature elements as well as trolls. We want you to feel at ease when you come onto Teamspeak with the rest of us and have fun playing the greatest of all games. We are all here because we are team players and like achieving what we couldn’t on our own.

Who we are looking for?

Friendly, helpful and mature players over the age of 18 that understands that there is no ‘I’ in teamwork.

Membership Stretchgoals

  • 1-10 Memberships: Basic Medical Response Team Set-up utilizing S&R mission contracts.

  • 100-200 Memberships: Org Wide Contracts accepted for fleet based support roles featuring all of our services on field.
  • 200+ Memberships: To be Determined.

As you can see we have carefully outlined what size of membership bases allows us to do what. Gaining more members will allow us to do more, cover more timezones, space and services. Given that we are this new in development of the concepts – it gives each member that joins the opportunity to influence the overall outcome.

If you are interested in taking part in this truly extraordinary concept you can apply at Submit Application

We use external application process for several reasons, mainly that we are but a game section in a much larger community of gamers. This offers us administrative resources, high cap teamspeak services and many experiences in running games for our members. It also allows us to screen members for undesired immaturity ratings and even infiltration and asset theft within the universe of Star Citizen.

Q&A:

Q: Are you the good guys?

  • A: Short Answer is ‘No, we are definitely not the good guys’. Alignment system means very little to us, there’s no black or white, nor even grey areas. We are loyal to one another and our customer base, everyone else can get a bullet in the face – and most likely will. We however do not limit our members in their own activities, and pro-bono medical services will be supported.

Q: With no medical mechanics currently supported in Star Citizen, what will there be to do for members in LOST?

  • A: Unlike other medical organizations, we want PVP, in fact it is part of our concept. Arena Commander, Baby PU and Star Marines will all offer us the opportunity to hone our skills until the medical mechanics are supported. Squadron battles, FPS battles, Fleet action are all part of our operations, so there’s plenty for us to do.

Q: What is the Parent Organization?

  • A: L.O.S.T Cybernetics is a game division in a larger gaming community called “LOST”. We have 2200 registred members and play anything from survival games to military simulators. We pride ourselves in being a family of like minded individuals where maturity and integrity is a vital quality of our member personalities. We are home to many real life veterans from around the globe including the founder.

Q: Everything looks good on paper, but how will exactly will it work?

  • A: A lot of the finer points in Star Citizen will remain uncertain until the full game is launched, but our concepts are based on already available information. We will use medical ships and charge for spawns, as well as use search & rescue and charge for extractions. Combining this with our desire for PVP, we will be performing our core activities while combat is active, as opposed to cleaning up battlefields post-battle. Every medic is a rifleman and/or fighter pilot, and will be no stranger to live combat. This combination is the core service we provide for other individuals and organizations alike.

Q: Will there be other activities in the future?

  • A: Absolutely. While our membership stretch goals are primarily centered around combat medic operations, we do wish to play a full game overall. With enough members and leadership potential, we can open up new branches and populate each with its own specialized sub-branch. We simply just do not want to lose focus of our core activities until we have enough members to sustain new ones.

Manifesto

Organization Concept

L.O.S.T. Cybernetics is the premier healthcare policy provider in the universe. We accomplish this by combining advanced medical practices and experienced tactical units. This enables us to provide unique products tailored towards the extraction of wounded personnel during armed conflicts.

Where other medical response teams are civilian based, our High Threat Response Teams (HTRTs) strike the perfect balance between medical and military units, allowing us to offer you all the benefits of a traditional medical response team with none of the drawbacks of civilians. Our HTRTs are prepared for both fleet and ground based operations.

Organizations can choose from a wide variety of healthcare policies for one that best suits their organization’s needs. Prices are determined per capita.

L.O.S.T strives to maintain a neutral stance towards all individuals and organizations. Our primary focus is on serving our customers as best we can. As such we do not make inquiries or take note of your alignment. Your business is your business and our business is tending to your medical needs. All customers including UEE and outlaw alignments are welcome, we turn no customer away.

L.O.S.T. however will protect its business interests & Assets . Any individual or organization perceived as threatening our market share, such as direct competitors in our field, will be subject to remediatory action from LOST. These actions may range anywhere from a blacklisting of the offending individual or organization from using our products or services, up to and including the use of our military assets to excise the offending parties from the universe, at L.O.S.T. discretion.

LO.S.T. Cybernetics Business Model:

The backbone of L.O.S.T business model will be Search & Rescue and hospital operations. Unlike traditional medical response teams, ours are equipped and trained for combat. This allow us to further specialize in extractions during armed conflicts as opposed to waiting until the battles are done.

  • Private Hospital Operations in sectors of choice.
  • Private Encrypted Communication Channels for Distress Calls

Public vs. Private Healthcare Contracts

Public healthcare will operate on general contract basis and payment for services used will be handled on site, whereas private healthcare policies will be negotiated using our official contract handlers.

Private healthcare policies will be negotiated with organizations to best be tailored to customer needs, and prices are determined per capita. Should our customers wish to exclude certain ranks within their organizations from the policies to lower the price, a clause will be added to the policy contract. Per capita price excludes individuals not affected by the policy.

Clearance Level

Clearance Level is our primary internal counter measure against Infiltration and assets theft. The lower the rank, the less access a member will have to LOST Assets. Recruits have no access at all, where corpsmen only have access to basic gear. We believe in dedication and selflessness, and the more a member have shown such, the more trust is put in them, which will be reflected on rank and thus clearance level.
