Manifesto

ABOUT US

We are a friendly and mature international community for those who wish to stay on the good side of the law, help others, and play as a team. Founded in January 2020, the organization remained active ever since, and conducted numerous in-game events to date. Thanks to contributions and dedication of our members, nowadays we are able to provide those who join not only with comprehensive roles to play, but also various means of material, financial and educational support.

As an in-universe entity, CONCORD is a privately-funded lawful pro-UEE non-governmental organization involved in crisis abatement, assistance to local security and rescue forces, and direct armed response to high-level threats to local peace and stability. For operations security reasons, most of its activities are concealed from the public eye, and known only to a few individuals outside of the organization itself.

OUR LANGUAGES

Our primary language is English, but members are free to speak their native languages with each other.

OUR GOALS

The ultimate goal of this organization is to build an environment people would want to come back to, and to have fun in Star Citizen and other games together, supporting each other as a competent and respectful team. We hope that through the efforts of our members this community will be able to leave a positive mark on the ‘Verse in the future. To that end, we intend to keep teaching new players, organizing our own events, and participating in activities organized by the developers.

OUR EMBLEM

Owing to its benevolent spirit, the organization incorporates symbols used by humanity since the days of early interstellar exploration started by the United Nations of Earth, and then continued by the United Planets of Earth as the base for its emblem. The four interlocking rings symbolize unity between population centers that make up this interstellar civilization, the stars represent high hopes for a brighter future for all, and the overhanging banner conveys the commitment to fight for that future

OUR STRUCTURE

Administration
The CONCORD Administration (CA) is the Organization’s community management branch, tasked with administrative and diplomatic duties. Majority of non-gameplay related functions essential to daily operations of the Organization are handled by members of this branch, who are considered civilian officials, and as such are not required to complete basic training. This branch has a loose structure where every member is tasked with managing a certain aspect of community affairs.

Fleet
The CONCORD Fleet (CF) is the Organization’s primary field operations branch, tasked with a great variety of missions, ranging from logistical support and medical rescue to combat operations and security patrols. Majority of gameplay related functions of the Organization are handled by members of this branch, who are considered paramilitary personnel, and as such required to complete basic training course to obtain a role. This branch is organized around the concept of autonomous units of varying specializations, each with its own leadership and membership.

Associates
The Associates are auxiliary members of the Organization. They have no fixed responsibilities within the Organization, but may be called in to support its operations in a variety of ways – in exchange for a material reward. They are still required to respect its rules and interests, and must refrain from any hostile or damaging acts against it. Not a formal branch, each associate is a single volunteer that may operate freely, so long as their actions are within the aforementioned boundaries.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: What activity requirements does this Org have?
A: It doesn’t have any. Just stay in touch and timely answer all queries from the leadership. Main members are also required to have registered accounts in both Discord and Guilded.

Q: What skill requirements does this Org have?
A: None. We value trust and maturity over skill. Even then, we are happy to teach new players the ropes and hope them on their way from zero to hero.

Q: Is it necessary to be part of the Org on the RSI website?
A: If you are not part of the Org on the RSI website on least one of your accounts, then in accordance with our policy you are not a member of the organization at all.

Q: How many accounts can I have in this Org?
A: The number of accounts is unlimited. However, you need to choose the primary one and inform the leadership of your choice.

Q: Is there career advancement in this Org?
A: If you select Main membership type and join a branch of the Organization, then yes. If you join as an Associate, then no. You may change branch and role in the future. Even then, no role restricts a member in terms of gameplay available to them.

Q: Do I need an expensive ship to be a member?
A: No, just having a game package with the cheapest ship equipped with quatum drive would suffice. The organization provides gameplay and social opportunities regardless of how much money a member spent on the game.

Q: Is there role play in this Org?
A: Depends on your definition of “role play”. While we don’t pretend to be our characters, most of us have our chosen roles which come with certain expectations that we strive to meet, resulting in what could technically be considered role play
