“When I take something from a man – his ship, his money, his life – I don’t hide behind a clerk. I don’t hide behind the law. I don’t hide behind anything.” – C.V.

We honor the words “Aeternus Nexus Praedonum,” which means Eternal Bond Between Pirates, for only a pirate is a man who is truly free.

History

The CONEXUS network has existed for thousands of years. In the early days of space exploration, Admiral Flint was the first Pirate Admiral to assemble and lead a fleet of Free Men. The First Admiral led 13 ships to capture the corrupt Walrus Imprisonment Facility, creating a haven for those who desired the freedom to explore the depths of space free from the tyranny of intrusive, controlling governments. Under the leadership of Admiral Flint, the newly established pirate colony (renamed Conexus “Independence” Station) became a haven not only for pirates, but for all free men and women. Vice Admiral Vane became a legend when he successfully defended Conexus Station against an overwhelming force of UEE ships, including one Capitol ship.

After nearly 70 years of independence and freedom, the UEE successfully infiltrated Conexus Station by planting a covert agent on the Defense Council, which had been established to protect the Station and it’s inhabitants. Agent Ben Horn gained access to the station’s power core, planted military grade explosives, and wiped out the entire space station.

While CONEXUS has never since established a physical home base, our ranks have grown great in number as the story of Flint and Vane has passed through the generations. They are immortalized as martyrs for freedom by the clandestine network of Free Men who value liberty above all else, especially at the expense of tyrants.
