Formation

In the year of 2791, multiple corporations grew unhappy with the civil unrest of the forceful Messer regime. Many small and large corporations banded together to form a conglomerate of companies and industries with the intent of supplying themselves with the capabilities of maintaining a large coalition to front the Messer regime.

Small-scale mining companies being heavily taxed by UEE blocked routes sought an opportunity to escape the draining economy of the outlying UEE systems and banded together to form what was temporarily known as the ‘Coalition’. This alliance of corporate business attracted the attention of many other corporations from a plethora of different occupations such as trading organizations, exploration companies, security firms, cargo transportation businesses and even freelancing pilots will to lend a hand.

By early 2792, when the Messer regime was being pushed to the brink of revolution, the Coalition sought to assist the revolutionaries in overthrowing the Messer regime with their recently occupied warships from abandoned UEE scrapyards. Once the revolution was successful, the Coalition began engaging the fleets of the UEE that still remained loyal to the command of the Messer regime. Once the loyalist fleets had been mostly destroyed or scuttled, the Coalition went to rest one of the dormant systems in control by the new democratic UEE.

Re-Branding

To avoid another wide-scale shortage of finances and totalitarian governments, the Coalition formed its own governing board of directors and was officially renamed to the Confederacy of Corporate Systems (CCS for short). This re-branding saw many of the previous Coalition warships being placed into specific fleets managed by the Military wing. The other corporations that comprised the other faculties stayed as their own individual firms but were under the protection of the Confederacy both militarily and financially.

By 2878, the Confederacy of Corporate Systems was one of the largest collective organizations operating at the time. With an entire fleet of warships and corporations bringing in millions everyday, the Confederacy had outsourced many new technological advancements from outsider industries and thus became a leading alliance not only in terms of a private navy or full shared financing, but also in high-tier technology aiding its collective corporations.

Present

To this day, the Confederacy operates as it has for the past 200 or so years, as a self-facilitating confederacy. It’s comprising corporations go about their business while being lent assistance financially, militarily and technologically. Its collective services being lent to outside organizations on occasion to encourage good standing with other conglomerates.
