CONTRA Corp… where we don’t ask questions we just get the job done!
The org was born in the chaos that followed the formal start of the Vanduul War (declared 10 November 2945 after the Battle of Vega II) and the subsequent Militia Mobilization Initiative. By early 2951, Imperator Laylani Addison had just taken office and the Stanton system was under direct attack by the outlaw group XenoThreat. The UEE Navy activated the Civilian Defense Force (CDF) and openly called on civilian pilots and contractors to help push the threat back toward Pyro.
Heroface (a hardened freelancer with a reputation for results over rhetoric) saw the opportunity clearly. While larger security outfits and corporate forces were still tangled in contracts, politics, and rules of engagement, he pulled together a tight cadre of pilots and operators who shared one simple principle: the job comes first. No ideology. No lectures. No “why.” Just execution.
They started small—operating out of the shadows of Grim HEX and other fringe stations—taking whatever paid: high-risk escorts through contested lanes, recovery work, corporate “problem solving,” CDF call-outs during the XenoThreat Incursion, and the kind of contracts that more respectable firms preferred not to put their name on.
The name CONTRA Corp stuck because it was short, blunt, and left no room for misunderstanding.
CONTRA rode the wave of frontier instability:
Throughout, CONTRA stayed true to the founding ethos. Members are expected to treat every contract as sacred once accepted. Questions about the client’s motives, the target’s politics, or the long-term consequences are left at the airlock.
In a universe still fighting an undeclared-then-declared war against the Vanduul, dealing with constant outlaw pressure, corporate proxy conflicts, and the everyday brutality of the frontier, CONTRA Corp carved out its niche the only way that makes sense in the 2950s:
They don’t ask questions.
They just get the job done.
We’re a laid-back group of people who simply want to log in, fly around, and have a good time together. No pressure, no mandatory events, no one telling you what to do or when to show up.
We keep things simple and low-pressure. Jump in when you feel like it, hop into whatever activity sounds fun that day, and leave whenever you need to. No drama, no hierarchy breathing down your neck — just a bunch of people hanging out in the ‘verse and getting stuff done when the mood strikes.
If you’re looking for a chill place to fly, make some credits, blow stuff up, and enjoy the game with zero stress… you’ve found it.
Come have some fun with us.
We don’t ask questions.
We just get the job done.
