Convera connects organizations with the capabilities their operations require – and service providers with contracts where they can put their skills, assets and expertise to work.
Convera was founded with a clear purpose: to provide professional contract services across the ‘verse.
From the beginning, Convera was built around the idea of providing capabilities on demand. Instead of limiting itself to a single industry, Convera set out to connect organizations in need of additional capabilities with independent freelancers, asset owners and specialized partner organizations.
To make this model scalable, Convera developed its own Operations Platform, turning client requirements into structured contracts and connecting them with suitable providers.
What started with a simple principle remains at the core of Convera today:
Convera doesn’t own every capability. It knows where to find it.
From the beginning, Convera was built around one approach: providing access to capabilities on demand. Those capabilities may come from independent freelancers, individual asset owners or specialized partner organizations. Our role is to understand the client’s operational requirements and bring together the right providers to fulfil them.
This allows organizations to focus on their own core operations while accessing additional capabilities whenever required. At the same time, freelancers and partner organizations gain access to paid contracts beyond their own networks and customer bases.
Clients can contract the capabilities they require without having to recruit, evaluate and coordinate every individual provider themselves.
From a single specialist or vessel to a complete multi-crew operation, each contract is built around what the client actually needs.
At the core of this model is Convera’s purpose-built Operations Platform, connecting demand with available capabilities across the ‘verse.
Client requests are translated into structured operational requirements and matched against the qualifications, assets, availability and specializations of independent freelancers and partner organizations.
Contracts can be fulfilled by a single provider, divided into specialized subcontracts, or assembled into joint operations involving multiple providers.
The platform supports the entire contract lifecycle – from defining requirements and selecting providers to operational coordination, completion and payment.
A contract is only as reliable as the people and organizations behind it.
Convera therefore verifies the capabilities of both individual freelancers and partner organizations before they may provide corresponding services through our network.
Qualifications are capability-specific and based on demonstrated experience, completed operations and continued performance. Partner organizations are evaluated not only on their specialization, but also on their reliability in fulfilling contracted services.
When Convera accepts responsibility for an operation, our client should not have to manage the providers behind it. If multiple contractors or organizations are involved, Convera coordinates them as a single service.
Convera provides civilian services and does not accept contracts involving piracy, criminal activity or participation in conflicts between organizations.
We may provide legitimate services to any client regardless of their affiliations, provided the contracted operation itself is lawful. Transporting legitimate cargo, providing repairs or supplying a vessel does not become piracy simply because of who the client is.
Security services are limited to protecting Convera operations, personnel, clients and assets against immediate threats. Convera will not take sides in conflicts between organizations or accept contracts to attack or defend one party against another.
This neutrality does not prevent humanitarian operations. Medical assistance, rescue, evacuation and other humanitarian services may be provided to those affected by a conflict without Convera becoming a participant in it.
Bounty hunting services are limited to verified criminal targets.
Convera is looking for independent pilots and specialists interested in professional contract work across the ‘verse.
As a Convera freelancer, you decide which capabilities you want to offer and which contracts you want to accept. Whether you bring professional experience, a specialized vessel, or both, Convera provides access to paid assignments from clients and partner organizations.
You remain independent. We provide the contracts, coordination and infrastructure that allow you to put your capabilities to work – and develop new ones.
Work on your terms. Convera doesn’t tell you what career to pursue or what ship to fly. You decide what you bring to the network.
Convera welcomes partnerships with organizations that want to offer their specialized capabilities through our network.
Partner organizations remain fully independent. You keep your structure, your identity and your way of operating – Convera simply provides access to additional contracts and opportunities for cooperation.
Whether you provide a single specialized service, take over a subcontract or join a larger multi-provider operation, you decide which contracts fit your organization.
Partnerships work both ways. When your organization needs capabilities outside its own field of expertise or additional capacity for an operation, Convera can provide them through the same network.
