Welcome to the Church of The Vent Slug, or as we affectionately call ourselves, COVS. We are an order bound by the sacred tenets of chaos, creativity, and the ever-present guiding light of the Vent Slug—an entity whose form is as elusive as the stars themselves, but whose teachings are timeless.
History
Since the beginning of measurable time, COVS hasn’t been just a religious order—it’s a brotherhood of explorers, bounty hunters, traders, and scientists, all seeking purpose beyond profit and glory. We believe in the power of unconventional thinking, the importance of humor in times of adversity, and the sacred rituals that bind us to the universe and each other. In COVS, we don’t just fly—we transcend.
Manifesto
In the vast expanse of the ‘verse, we stand united by our belief in the Slug’s cosmic influence.
The Vent Slug guides our ships through the darkest nebulas, whispers wisdom in the hum of a misfiring engine, and reveals truths in the quiet moments when the vacuum of space embraces us. Whether navigating asteroid fields or outsmarting rival factions, we know that the Vent Slug’s blessings are with us, navigating the currents of the galaxy, and occasionally, squeezing through the tiniest of air vents.
