Detachment 88 / CRAZY8S

This special unit is funded by the UEE government directly by the High Advocate. It is rumored to be an unofficial branch of Advocacy Agents that are legally allowed to “shoot to destroy” when engaging interlopers in the field if they are acting in self-defense or if innocent lives are at risk.
The existence of ‘kill-orders’ has long been unofficially acknowledged within the UEE infrastructure. Though never confirmed it is speculated that Detachment 88 carries out these orders from the High Advocate.
Detachment 88 is publicly known as a independently contracted security force that specializes in anti-terrorist protection and counter terrorism activities, from bomb threats to hostage situations. This small but highly trained force consist of weapons experts and EX–UEE Pilots equipped with military grade equipment. Detachment 88 use only experimental spacecraft that are not available on the open market. The pilots of the Detachment 88 are known as Crazy 8s due to their taking on the most dangerous bounty and security contracts that other private security firms have turned down. Detachment 88 has no static base of operations. They run all HQ functions while on the move in their command ship the Deadmans Hand.
