History
Darktide Acquisition and Recovery Corporation started out as a very small underwater mining operation. We pioneered the equipment and techniques used in complex underwater drilling operations and rapidly expanded due the the high demand for untapped resources found only through our exploitation methods. The need to protect our technology and proprietary assets caused us to evolve our own security and acquisitions branch and as a result we tapped into a new pool of skills and talents. As we expanded we used the technology and method base we developed as a launching point into space exploration and resource exploitation. Our focus on recruiting high-level critical thinkers and highly qualified technicians from many different disciplines helped our company evolve into a corporation with broad reach and a wide range of skills. Our versatility is what sets us apart from any other organization in the galaxy. If you need a job done, no matter how strange the circumstances, chances are, we can handle it.
Manifesto
DARC specializes in resource gathering (centered on mining), asset recovery operations, security (virtual and physical) as well as a wide range of other activities. Our mission is to provide both individuals and organizations with specialized services, catered to their needs and customized for the often complex legalities surrounding intergalactic business ventures. We recruit from a broad range of specializations and backgrounds. We pride ourselves on being flexible and adaptable to whatever client needs may arise.
Charter
Darktide Acquisition and Recovery Corporation was founded on the principles of hard work, versatility and adaptation. Following those guidelines, members of the organization are expected to be value-added contributors. We welcome people from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill-sets but your contributions and character determine the longevity of your involvement with the organization.
- DARC will not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
We expect members of our organization to be professional and respectful when dealing with others.
- DARC will not tolerate hacking or any other form of game exploitation.
If you plan to cheat the system or violate the EULA in any way shape or form, this organization is not the place for you.
- DARC will not tolerate unsanctioned organizational disputes.
Political capital is an important aspect of maintaining balance in the “Verse”. Any unauthorized extra-organizational friction caused by members of the organization will be treated as a serious matter and investigated and dealt with swiftly.
- DARC requires loyalty from its members and therefore requires disclosure of outside organizational affiliations.
While we do not ban affiliation with outside organizations we do not tolerate agendas that contradict our organizational missions and goals. As such, DARC reserves the right to monitor outside affiliation in order to determine employee loyalty.
