History
Born from the ashes of failed empires and shattered alliances, Darkstar Mercenary Services, also known as DAARKSTARR, rose to power during the darkest days of human expansion into the void of space. It was a time of brutal and bloody conflicts that decimated entire planets, moons, and even stars, forever darkening entire systems. All conflicts beyond Earth were determined by the strength of a man’s steel, the speed of his draw, or the depth of his pockets.
Manifesto
Our services have been sought by the richest of bidders from all walks of life. Whether the client is a bright-eyed and idealistic heir of fortune who dreams of bringing order to the chaos of an endless frontier, a CEO securing or expanding corporate interests, a hard-working entrepreneur chasing lasting legacy and prosperity, a collapsing frontier government desperately trying to maintain control by any means necessary, or a crime boss protectin his operations, if there is profit to be made, then there are contracts to be signed. We do not care about anything beyond what is necessary to complete the job.
On the darkest frontiers of the void, where the practicality of civilized morality becomes questionable, where others hesitate, we excel. Profit is our morality, and ruthless brutality in the pursuit of success is our guarantee. We do not fight for glory or honor, but for the highest bidder.
