DarkWaters is a group for those who want to play. Fly alone when you want, or with the rest when the call goes out. The only requirement is that we keep it casual and keep it fun. No one is left on the pad, and no one is forced to play a part they don’t want.
DarkWaters history and origin is unknown. One rumor stated the group began among pirates. Another claimed the first members ran quiet intelligence work. The group’s identity and protocols were sealed by the original brethren council, leaving only a single shadowy progenitor whose name was never recorded. What remains is only rumor and the fact that the group still operates to this day.
DarkWaters original Council Manifesto reads as follows:
We are the Brethren. No crown rules us, and no single captain speaks for all. We meet as a council of those who fly free, and we hold to these things:
We answer no banner. Each ship is its own, but no brother is left to the void alone. What is taken is shared. What is sworn is kept. We do not turn on our own for coin or quarrel. The ’verse is wide, the prizes are many, and the free have no master but the code we keep among ourselves.
If you fly with us, you stand with us. If you break the code, you stand alone.
You have the right to have fun
You have the right to play the way you want too
You have the right to crash your ship.
You can decide at any time to exercise your rights to crash in any other ship in order to make a more explosive statement.
