About DCS1

DCS1 was founded by three pilots—Priz, CC, and Ani—who refused to let the collapse of the old ways end their journey.
Starting with a single cargo ship and a dream of independence, they transformed wreckage and scrap into the first functioning outpost: Dave’s Cargo Station 1.

Today, DCS1 stands as a beacon for independent pilots across the Verse. Whether you’re hauling freight, running security, building outposts, or exploring the edges of known space — there’s a spot for you in the Line.

Cargo & Commerce Division The lifeblood of DCS1. Keeping the station alive through transport, trade, and supply runs.

Defense Division The shield of the Empire. Escorting convoys, responding to distress calls, and guarding our routes.

Construction, Engineering & Salvage The hands that build our future. Repairing hulls, salvaging wrecks, and upgrading systems. “If it’s broken, we’ll make it better.”

Exploration & Hazard Division Mapping the unknown and navigating the most dangerous sectors. Daring, curious, and always moving forward.

Special Ops (Racing, Medical, & VIP) High-speed trials, elite emergency response, and luxury transport for the most skilled pilots.

Q: Casual or full-time? A: Both. Participation is flexible. Real life always comes first.

Q: Do I need a mic? A: No. We welcome all pilots who can communicate via text and follow mission leads.

Q: Do you allow roleplay? A: Absolutely. RP channels and lore missions are active for those who want them.

Q: Your stance on piracy? A: Not allowed under DCS1. Smuggling is allowed if it doesn’t endanger the Line.

Fly True: Play fairly and respect the Star Citizen universe. We are a professional organization; piracy is strictly prohibited.

Member Rights

Every member of Dave’s Cargo Station 1 (DCS1) is guaranteed:

The Right to Participation: Access to all public divisions, operations, and community events regardless of play frequency.

The Right to Progression: The ability to earn roles and ranks based on activity, skill, and contribution within their chosen specialty.

The Right to Voice: The right to suggest ideas for missions, trade routes, or station improvements.

The Right to Inclusivity: The right to participate fully whether using a microphone or communicating via text.

The Right to Respect: A collaborative environment free from harassment, discrimination, or “elite” gatekeeping.

Responsibilities

Members of the Line are expected to:

Uphold the Reputation: Maintain the name of the Empire and DCS1 through professional and fair play in the ‘Verse.

Contribute to the Line: Support missions, convoys, or operations when active and available.

Respect the Crew: Follow the lead of Division Officers during active operations and respect the station hierarchy.

Support the Hangar: Help integrate new members and share knowledge with those learning the ropes.

Maintain the Balance: Keep the environment fun and inclusive while adhering to the station’s core rules.

Leadership Structure

Command is organized to ensure the Empire moves forward:

Division Leaders: Commanders of Cargo, Defense, Construction, Commerce, and Special Ops. They organize daily runs, mentor recruits, and manage division-specific logistics.

Station Command (Priz, Ani, CC): The founding leadership team managing the overall station, coordinating between divisions, and resolving high-level disputes.

Progression & Ranks

Members rise through the ranks of the Empire by:

Mission Completion: Participating in tasks and operations relevant to their chosen division.

Earning Specializations: Achieving specialized roles such as Ace, Racer, Recovery Lead, or Emergency Medic.

Community Contribution: Mentoring others, assisting with logistics, or contributing to the station’s creative projects.

Loyalty: Demonstrating consistent teamwork and commitment to the “Life First” culture of DCS1.

Discipline & Order

Rules are enforced fairly and transparently:

Warnings: Minor infractions are addressed through direct discussion and warnings.

Restrictions: Repeated violations may result in temporary restrictions from specific divisions or operations.

Removal: Serious misconduct (Piracy, Harassment, or Griefing) will result in permanent removal from the Line.

The Reporting Policy:
Leadership cannot see everything. Members are encouraged to maintain the station’s integrity by reporting issues directly to Command. You will never be disciplined for making an honest report. In DCS1, we look out for each other.
