“Where law ends, profit begins. DarkMatter Industries delivers results through bounty hunting, piracy, smuggling, and salvage. We operate in the shadows, taking the jobs others fear. “
The Rise of DarkMatter Industries
In the cold void of the Stanton system, where corporate greed and corrupt law enforcement choke entire worlds, a new shadow emerged—DarkMatter Industries (DMI). Born from blood and betrayal, DMI began as a loose coalition of outlaws, mercenaries, and drifters who found common ground in a simple creed: “Survive. Profit. Dominate.”
The organization was founded after a series of brutal conflicts in the asteroid belts of Pyro, where independent crews were being wiped out by both UEE enforcers and pirate lords. In those battles, a leader arose—CyrusTheV1rus. His tactical brilliance, combined with an iron will and zero tolerance for failure, earned him both fear and respect. What started as a single, ragtag ship quickly evolved into a force capable of taking on fleets and carving its own territory.
DMI’s first infamous contract came when they hijacked an entire convoy under the banner of Crusader Industries. Using cunning diversions and a mix of sabotage and surgical strikes, they not only stole millions in cargo but broadcasted their success across pirate networks, instantly becoming a name whispered in the dark corners of space.
Over time, DMI mastered a unique balance: they are not just pirates, nor are they loyal mercenaries. Instead, they are something more dangerous—an organization with the flexibility of an outlaw crew, the discipline of a private military company, and the ruthlessness of a syndicate. Their fleet expanded from salvaged wrecks to high-class warships, with their flagship Polaris serving as the symbol of their dominance.
The Black Contracts Division was born out of necessity. While other mercenary groups hesitated to take dirty or illegal jobs, DMI embraced them. No assassination, smuggling operation, or high-risk raid was off-limits. Their contracts are whispered about in backrooms and transmitted on encrypted frequencies, reserved only for those who can afford their brutal efficiency.
DMI thrives where law and morality fail—operating in the shadows, yet always leaving a trail of destruction that reminds the universe who truly holds the power in ungoverned space. Their motto isn’t written on flags or broadcast in propaganda—it’s etched into the fear of every crew they’ve ever burned out of the stars.
DARKMATTER INDUSTRIES MANIFESTO
We are not heroes. We are not saviors.
We are DarkMatter Industries, forged in the void where law and order fail, where only strength and cunning decide who survives. We are the shadow between stars, the hand that strikes when others hesitate.
The Black Contracts Division exists for one reason: profit through power.
We don’t hide behind false honor or hollow oaths. We take the jobs others fear, we claim what others can’t, and we thrive where the galaxy burns brightest. Whether it’s a bounty, a smuggling run, or a raid, our contracts are signed in grit, risk, and blood.
We serve no empire, no corporation, no flag.
We are free.
Our loyalty is to each other, to our fleet, and to the creed that built us:
Survive. Profit. Dominate.
You don’t join DarkMatter to be safe—you join to be feared, to make your name echo across comms, to stand with a crew that will bleed, burn, and kill to carve its legacy.
If you want rules, find the UEE.
If you want excuses, join a corporation.
If you want freedom, power, and respect—the kind earned in fire—then step into the dark.
We are DarkMatter. And we don’t ask. We take.
