“If you want peace, prepare for war.”

Out here, peace is a myth sold by corps and cowards.
In Pyro, the only law that holds is firepower — and the only justice is what we carve ourselves.

We are the Deadwake Legion.
Born from betrayal. Forged in the void.

History

Origins in the Ashes
The Legion was born not from loyalty, but from fire and betrayal.

In the shadow-choked corridors of Ruin Station, where syndicates rose and fell like sandcastles in acid rain, a cadre of ex-mercenaries, defected UEE black-ops, and disillusioned pirates formed an alliance. They had all been burned — double-crossed by employers, discarded by command, or left to die in the lawless expanse of Pyro.

Their founder, known only as Warden Vex, was once a shadow operative under UEE Naval Intelligence. Left behind after a failed infiltration of a pirate stronghold in Pyro, Vex survived by carving out a corner of hell with blood and brutal calculation. He realized that in a system without law, discipline became the highest form of power.

Thus, the Deadwake Legion was born — forged from the dead wake of fallen alliances and scorched promises.

Purpose Through Chaos
The Legion is not a mindless pirate crew. They do not kill without reason, nor steal without strategy. Their methods are ruthless, but always calculated.

Their dual focus — piracy and bounty hunting — is a paradox only on the surface. To the Legion, there is no moral divide between hunting criminals and being one. Everyone is prey. Some are simply more profitable alive.

To outsiders, they are merciless reapers. To those within, they are a brotherhood bound by one law:

“Peace is only earned through superior violence.”

Manifesto

The Legion follows a strict code of conduct. Discipline is enforced with military precision, and insubordination is dealt with swiftly. Rank is earned through blood, resolve, and strategic thinking — not bravado.

Their operational doctrine is grounded in preemptive strikes, asymmetrical warfare, and psychological warfare. Deadwake Legion fleets are known to ambush convoys, dismantle security patrols, and occasionally turn on their fellow pirates — when the profit outweighs the risk.

They don’t just take. They send messages.

Charter

The Legion answers to no syndicate, no cartel, no empire. They take contracts when they see fit, and break them just as quickly.

They have no known enemies — not because they haven’t made any, but because the ones that would name them so no longer speak.
