The History of Deimos

Deimos was founded on a straightforward principle: new players deserve accessible, accurate, and comprehensive education about Star Citizen. What began as a dedicated effort to create structured learning resources has evolved into a hub for guides, mentorship, and community knowledge-sharing.

Over the past two to three years, Deimos developed a foundation built on careful documentation and systematic guides. Members worked to break down complex game systems—from power distribution and engineering consoles to armor mechanics, ship systems, and in-game economies—into clear, digestible formats that could be shared across the community. This commitment to clarity and accessibility became the organization’s core strength.

A year ago, Deimos underwent a rebranding that refined its identity and structure. The organization emerged with renewed focus on what it does best: creating, maintaining, and distributing high-quality educational content. Under the leadership of Atlas77 and supporting coordinators, Deimos consolidated its mission as a knowledge-sharing collective.

Today, Deimos operates as both a home for official Star Citizen guides and a space where community guides flourish. Members contribute structured documentation on game mechanics, tutorials on equipment and systems, event calendars, and economy guides. The organization bridges the gap between individual players and the broader Star Citizen community, ensuring that anyone seeking to understand how the game works has a place to find answers.

The core belief remains unchanged: any new player deserves to experience the game fully. That means having access to clear, accurate information. Whether through official RSI guide platforms or community-driven resources shared within Deimos, the organization exists to provide that knowledge freely and openly.
