Please check our Manifesto for more information about Division Gaming, and our Charter to gain further understanding of our standards.

Manifesto

Division Gaming is a gaming community that supports a variety of games from MMOs to FPS, along with a selection of core titles such as All Points Bulletin, League of Legends, Minecraft and DayZ. Our community acts as a base for developing grass root gaming Divisions and gaming Teams for social and competitive play.

We support our game specific communities as well as the overall Division Gaming community by giving our members the tools and support necessary to reach their goals, whether they be to excel or simply enjoy gaming in a positive environment.

Division Gaming strongly emphasizes teamwork. We don’t care about your backgrounds or nationality, as long as you are capable of communicating clearly in English and are willing and able to work as a team. While individual skill does make a difference, it is far more important to us that you are able to work with your team members effectively. With this in mind, all members are required to use Teamspeak 3 when playing with other members. We try to hit the sweet spot between organisation, serious gameplay and a fairly laid back and positive attitude.

Charter

Section I: Cheating

  • Hacking: The use of any third party programs which directly or indirectly give you an unfair and unintended advantage over other players in the game. (Aimbots, Wallhacks, Macros)
  • Exploiting: The use or abuse of glitches, bugs, or bad programming within the game which gives you an unfair and unintended advantage over other players in the game.

All potential violations will be handled by Division Staff and senior command personnel.

Section II: Behavior

Division is a respectable gaming community, and we expect all of our members to act as such both in game and on public and private forums and chats.
  • Show respect to other players, regardless of if they are deserving of it.
  • Do not be belligerent or insulting to other players, publicly or in private.
  • Do not accuse, either publicly or privately, other players of hacking or exploiting. Report the person in an appropriate manner and move on.

If you have a problem with another player in Division, be the bigger person and walk away. Report the problem to a staff member and let them handle it.

Section III: Activity

Members are expected to remain active on the forums, teamspeak and in game.

  • Members are expected to notify Division via the forums if they will be inactive for longer than a week.
  • When playing the game with members, you’re expected to be on Teamspeak.
  • Division should be your primary group for any game that you play with Division. But it’s also allowed to have a secondary clan as long as Division remains your primary clan.
  • You’re expected to play a minimum of 5 hours per week.

If you are inactive for longer then a certain amount of time without notifying Division, you will be removed from the community.
