Manifesto
Born under Canis Major, the Dog Star Sirius. From the ashes of broken worlds, we rise—bound by the eternal light of the Dog Star. Baptized in fire, the Hounds answer the Stars call with blood and steel. Each kill, each haul, feeds the pack and honors the Star. We take what we earn, give what we owe—tithing to the dens. Survival is our prayer; victory, our offering. Blessed be the Star. We are no mere guns for hire; we are the faithful, forged in the crucible of combat, sworn to a creed older than the UEE itself. The void whispers our name, and it trembles. To our brothers and sisters, we offer kinship and purpose; to our foes, a howl in the dark and a blade at their throat. Contracts fuel our fire, but the Star guides our path—where it burns, we hunt. Join us, and become part of the pack. Charter
The Charter of Dog Star
Established 2947
We, the Hounds of the Dog Star, swear to abide by these rules with this Charter as our covenant—to ourselves, to our faith, and to the ‘verse we carve our path through.
1.The Code of War – Survival is our first priority. Mercy is earned, not given.
2.Strength in Unity – No Hound stands alone. Loyalty to the pack is sacred; betrayal is the gravest sin.
3.The Chain of Command – The Doglord speaks with the authority of the stars. Below them, Goldfangs lead the fleets, and all hounds obey or face exile.
4.The Spoils of War – Loot and payment are split fairly—first to the Tithe, then to the pack.
5.The Tithe – Each member shall offer one-tenth of their earnings to the Order, funding our works—be it ships, small arms, or sanctuaries for the pack.
6.The Rite of Trial – New blood must prove their mettle in combat or service before claiming the mantle of a Hound.
7.The Sanctuary of the Den – The Den is inviolable. To defile one is to invite death.
8.The Right of Refusal – No Hound is forced to take a job.
9.The Court of Ashes – Breaches of the Charter are judged by all. Punishment ranges from penance to banishment.
10.Redemption Through Action – Sins are cleansed by service—be it blood spilled in battle or credits given to the cause.
