Limping Space Donkeys (DONKS) is a multi-role Star Citizen org built for clean ops, teamwork, and dry humour when the radar gets rude. We bring ambition, humility, and a future Odin-shaped problem. Serious about the mission. Not ourselves.

History

DONKS was founded in 2949 on a simple observation: the ‘verse rewards competence, but competence is much easier to live with when nobody is treating their flight suit like ceremonial robes.

The name started as a warning label. We wanted an org that could run clean ops, help newer players find their footing, and still remember that Star Citizen is at its best when the stories are shared, the comms are sharp, and the inevitable disaster is at least well organised.

Since then, Limping Space Donkeys has grown around a straightforward idea: crew before ego. We are building toward large-scale fleet play, Odin operations, industry support, exploration, security, and the logistics required to keep everyone pointed roughly at success.

Some orgs promise glory. We promise effort, teamwork, and a reasonable chance that someone remembered ammunition.

Manifesto

We believe every role matters. The pilot gets the screenshot, but the medic, scout, hauler, turret gunner, miner, salvager, engineer, and calm voice on comms are what make the mission survive contact.

We believe in clean comms, clear intent, and useful leadership. Orders should help, not decorate the room. A good plan is welcome. A backup plan is better. A backup plan with fuel, medpens, and someone who read the briefing is practically art.

We believe in taking the game seriously enough to improve, and lightly enough to enjoy it. Win with humility. Lose with notes. Laugh when appropriate, preferably after the torpedoes are no longer inbound.

Above all, DONKS is about building a crew worth flying with. Good people. Useful skills. No parade ground. No ego throne. Just a shared heading into the black.

Charter

Respect the crew.

Treat members, allies, and visitors with basic decency. No harassment, bigotry, drama farming, or main-character nonsense. The ‘verse is dangerous enough without importing extra problems.

Keep comms useful.

During operations, follow the mission lead and keep channels clear when needed. Jokes are welcome. Jokes over target callouts are how we all become wreckage with opinions.

Every role counts.

Combat, logistics, mining, salvage, medical, scouting, hauling, support, and command all matter. DONKS does not treat support work as background scenery. Someone has to keep the shiny ships alive.

Help the crew improve.

Share knowledge, teach newer players, ask questions, and accept feedback without turning into a procedural incident.

Real life comes first.

This is a game, not a second mortgage with lasers. Show up when you can, communicate when you cannot, and do not burn yourself out trying to impress pretend space management.

Represent DONKS well.

Fly with enough discipline that people trust us, and enough humour that they remember us. The name may limp. The standards do not.
