History
Founded on the fringes of UEE space, Driftpoint Ventures began as a small band of freelance pilots and explorers drawn together by a shared desire for independence and adventure. Initially formed in response to overly strict corporate oversight and bureaucratic regulations, Driftpoint’s early crews quickly earned a reputation for reliability, resourcefulness, and an occasional disregard for conventional rules.
Over time, Driftpoint Ventures grew from scattered freelancers into a tight-knit syndicate known for navigating the grey areas of interstellar law—always professional, but never entirely predictable. Their reputation attracted experienced pilots, savvy explorers, and capable freelancers who preferred the freedom and camaraderie offered outside typical organisational constraints.
Today, Driftpoint Ventures operates as a reputable yet subtly mischievous organisation specialising in deep-space exploration, freelance contracting, and boundary-pushing enterprises. Maintaining their founding principles, members pride themselves on loyalty, humour, and a practical approach summed up by their motto, “Doin’ alright, most of the time.”
Manifesto
Driftpoint Ventures was founded by those who saw opportunity where others saw risk—explorers, freelancers, and professionals who work just beyond the line. We operate on the edges of mapped space and accepted conduct, not out of recklessness, but because that’s where the real work gets done.
We believe in freedom over formality, action over red tape. Ours is a culture of trust, sharp thinking, and mutual respect. We’re serious about our craft, but never so serious we forget how to laugh. Some call us cheeky. Some call us bold. We call it getting the job done.
We chart the uncharted, take contracts others won’t, and make our own way—quietly competent, calmly defiant. We know what we’re doing. Mostly.

Charter
Driftpoint Ventures is a collective built on mutual respect, independence, and shared ambition. As a member, you represent not only yourself, but the crew beside you. These are the principles that keep our syndicate strong, sharp, and just cheeky enough.
1. Respect the Crew
We don’t tolerate toxicity, harassment, or discrimination of any kind. Banter is welcome—so long as it doesn’t cross the line. Know the difference.
2. Stay Active, Stay Honest
Regular activity is encouraged. If you need time away, just let us know. Ghosting gets noticed. Lying? That gets you dropped.
3. No Drama
We keep it real. This isn’t a performance, and no one has time for unnecessary drama. Clear communication is expected.
4. Operate with Integrity
We push boundaries, but we don’t betray trust. Don’t steal from the crew, sabotage ops, or exploit fellow members. If you’re part of Driftpoint, you’re part of the team.
5. Respect the Mission
Whether we’re freelancing, exploring, or taking on contracts—don’t jeopardise the job for ego or chaos. We do what we came to do, then we fly.
